Later that evening someone on the ship makes a phone

call to Marseille.
- Voice 1: Can we meet in Barcelona tomorrow?
- Voice 2: Barcelona tomorrow? Why? Why not here
in Marseille?
- Voice 1: Someone was in my room today. I think
they are watching me.
- Voice 2: What?
- Voice 1: Don’t worry. They didn’t find the necklace.

Back in the lounge Cristina, Agatha, Frank, Robert and
Lucy are having a drink.
- Cristina: What do you want to do tomorrow in

- Agatha: We can go to a museum and maybe do some
shopping later.

 - Frank: I don’t want to leave the boat for a whole
day. The writing is going well at the moment.
- Agatha: Robert, you know Barcelona. Tell Frank how
much there is to see.
- Robert: Well there really is a lot. Beautiful
buildings, gardens, cafes, museums, shops,
restaurants.
- Frank: Sounds interesting. What are you going to
do Robert?
- Robert: I have to contact my office about some
houses near here. In the afternoon Lucy and I are
going to walk around.
- Cristina: Frank, please come. Maybe you get some
ideas for your book and…
- Frank: I’m too busy really.
- Cristina: Frank, come with us. We’ll have a good
time. You can explain to us the mysterious meanings
of the paintings in the museum.
- Frank: All right. I’ll go.
Meanwhile in New York. Lieutenant Washington receives
a message:
“Necklace not in room. Ship stops in Barcelona
tomorrow. Suspect may try to sell it there. We need to
act soon.”
So, the necklace wasn’t in the room. The suspect may
try to sell it in Barcelona. We’d better contact Interpol.
