TASK 1:

Write a short biography of any family member. Remember to use vocabulary and grammar you
learnt in units land 2. (50 to 70 words)

Example:

My partner is a chef. She works In a very nice restaurant near our school. She cooks Italian food
and bakes desserts. She likes her English classes a lot. Her favorite activities are speaking and
vocabulary practice. She studies another language. too ..

RTA: My father is a systems engineer, he works in an office that belongs to a store called D1, he
fixes everything electronic that breaks down in the stores, and sometimes he has to go on trips to
repair machines in other D1 stores in other cities in Colombia such as Barranquilla or Bogota.

TASK 2:

Some people say Justo y Bueno is the best. Others say D1. which one do you prefer. Select 5
products and write a short paragraph comparing them (Unit 3 - 50 to 90 words)

Example:

My favorite clothes are cotton T-shirts and jeans. T-shirts are more comfortable than shirts and
ties. and I think jeans arc nicer than pants. I know that suits are more stylish. but ...

RTA:

Because they are more delicious than the galletas Doradas from Justo y Bueno, I like the Arequipe
from Justo y Bueno because the Arequipe from D1 is cloyingly sweet and I like the cherries from
D1 because they are more delicious and sweeter than the ones from Justo y Bueno.

TASK 3:

Write an email to a friend about your family. Remember to use quantifiers. (Unit 5 - 70 to 90
words)

Example:

Dear Jessie. Thanks for your email. You have a very nice family! Now let me tell you about my
family. My parents are teachers in our local school. Most families here are large. I have three
brothers, but I don't have a sister. I'm the only daughter. My brothers' names are .. .

RTA: Dear Juanes. Thank you for your email. You have a very nice family. now let me tell you about
my family. My father is a systems engineer in a store called D1 and he is 42 years old, my mother is
a teacher in a rural public school and she is 40 years old, I have a brother but no sisters. My
brother's name is Sebastian he is 10 years old. I have a pet named Luna who is 1 year old,

TASK 4:

Write about your favorite activities. Include one activity that is false. (Unit 6 - 70 to 100 words)

I usually exercise four or five times a week. I always do yoga on Mondays and Wednesdays. I
often go jogging in the morning on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I sometimes go to the beach and
play volleyball with my friends on weekends. I ...

RTA: I play video games two or three times a week. On Fridays and Saturdays I always go
swimming in the pool. On Sundays I usually go jogging in the morning. Sometimes I go to the mall
and play minecraft or roblox with my friends on the weekends. from Monday to Friday I go to a
school called Colegio Nuestra Señora del Rosario FloridaBlanca, in that school I have so many
friends that I don't know how many there are.
