Vision-
The vision of the University is “To be a dynamic, creative and competitive Centre of Excellence in advanced knowledge, especially relevant for the
development of the nation and of the socially, educationally and economically marginalized sections of the people”.
In the coming years, BBAU will be taking up a range of other activities designed to further preserve our environment; provide learning experiences
surpassing cultured linguistic and geographical boundaries making our socially and ethically responsible global citizens. The University has designed a roadmap
to achieve excellence, in making learner centre education through collaborations, and rigorous training promising employability for our graduates the strategic
initiatives of Universities includes major focus on emerging global educational trends fair and sustainable human development and creation of knowledge
base society which is ready to face the unforeseen challenges of tomorrow’s world. The University also plans to own a radio station for the dissemination of
community oriented information, education and knowledge.
New initiatives undertaken by the University are towards improving infrastructure, campus development, the welfare of the faculties and students,
empowerment of women and weaker sections, creation of sports, health and other facilities, establishing new hostels for student, initiating innovation in
academic and extra-curricular activities. The University is making serious efforts to attract the students from other countries. In this direction, an International
student center has been created which will work exclusively for the international students and their hassel free admission. An office of Director (R&D) has
been established to promote collaborations, consultancy services based on principals of public private partnership. These endeavors of University are surely
going to earn laurels for the University.
It is a matter of great pride and privilege to be the Head of this esteemed University that prepares students to meet the challenges of the
present day society. This has become possible with the untiring efforts of our University fraternity who have excellent academic conscience. Most
of the Faculty members of the University are involved in research by attracting funded projects from various research organizations like UGC,
CSIR, ICSSR, DST, DBT, AICTE and industries. The outcome of the research is passed on to the students through live training and projects. The
entrepreneurial zeal of the students is encouraged and nurtured through Entrepreneurial training.
I, therefore, call all the budding students to come and be the part of academic ventures of the University and become scientists, academicians
and renowned researchers of tomorrow.

Important Instruction
• An applicant can apply for three (03) Test Papers by paying application fee as mentioned above.
• An applicant can further apply upto Seven Test Papers by paying additional application fees of Rs. 500/- (General applicants) or Rs. 400/- (OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS/SC/ST/Third
Gender/PwBD Applicants) per Test Paper for PG Programmes.
• Candidates opting for Test Centres outside India will have to pay application fee of Rs. 5000/- irrespective of the category they belong to for upto three Test Papers.
• Further, for applying for additional Test Papers a fee of Rs. 1500/- per paper has to be paid.

I. The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card and UPI Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are
chargeable from the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator. For details/procedure, please

II. The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment of the fee by the Candidate. In case the
Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee, then the candidate may have to approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway (in the
helpline numbers and email given in Appendix- II of NTA Information Bulletin available on https://cuet.nta.nic.in) for ensuring the successful
payment or for obtaining the refund of duplicate /multiple payments.
1. Candidates must read carefully the Instructions (including how to fill up the Application Form online) given in the Information Bulletin available on the NTA
Website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
2. Candidates can apply for CUET (PG) - 2023 through the “Online” mode only. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
3. Submission of Application Form could be made by the candidate online through the NTA website: https://cuet.nta.nic.in/

Important Instructions
All eligible applicants desire to seek admission to courses of the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow for the academic session
2023-24 must apply to the CUET (PG) - 2023 and read this information bulletin and admission prospectus carefully.
Reservation Policy
The reservation policy to be followed for admission in Academic Session 2023-24 shall be as per the provisions of the academic ordinance
Chapter- VII (clause 9) which states “for the purposes of admission to all courses of study in the university, 50% of the seats shall be reserved for
Scheduled caste/Scheduled tribes (SC/ST) students”. Further, 10% seats shall be reserved for Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) for admissions
inthe University as per the letter F.No.19-4/2019-CU.CDN dated 23.01.2019 from Ministry of Education, GoI.

The University has a dedicated Office for International Affairs to handle all inquiries regarding the admission of admitting foreign candidates.

12. Universitymay increase/decrease the seats of any course/programme.
13. The Departments of the University may ask the candidates concerned, wherever necessary, to get recognition/equivalence of their degrees/ diplomas/
certificates authenticated from the Association of Indian Universities/University Grants Commission/AICTE/Council of Boards of School Education in India
(COBSE)/PCI/BCI on his/her own for the purpose of admission in the Department. Further, the cases of equivalence of degrees/certificates/diploma may
then be put up before the University Authorities for further consideration and confirmation. However, the Certificates/Diplomas/Degrees already recognized/
equated by the University may not be referred for further verification.
14. University will not entertain any sort of claim regardingchange in score.
15. One Supernumerary seat shall be available for the daughter/son of defense martyrs personnel in the Post Graduate (P.G.) coursesexcept courses which
are governed by the BCI, PCI, NCTE & AICTE etc.
16. University provides 5% supernumerary sports quota based upon qualification of Physical Test & grading of certificates of National & above
participation after CUET (PG) examination.

University Facilities
Computer Centre-
Presently University has a Computer Centre equipped with computers and internet facilities under the infonet program of UGC scheme,
which is open for all. The University is also connected with National Knowledge Network (NKN).
Health Centre-
The University provides health services through medical consultants to all the students, administrative staff, faculty members and subordinate
staff of the University including boys’ hostel and girls’ hostel for the residential students of the University. In the health centre, University has
also established Yoga and Wellness centre with the help of state government to provide alternative health care with dedicated
instructors/consultants to all the staffand students.

LAN/Wi-Fi-
Most buildings in the University such as Administrative Block, Departments, Hostels, and some residential quarters in the campus are fully
equipped with LAN facility. The state of the art Wi-Fi connectivity across the campus provides high-speed internet.
Library-
The Gautam Buddha Central library is housed in a separate huge library building and fulfills its objective to supplement educational and
information needs of the faculty and students through its books and periodical sections having adequate reading rooms, journals and video
library. It is equipped to facilitate visually handicapped students as well. The library services are also extended to non-teaching staff and visitors.
It has adequate collection to satisfy the information need of the user.
Guest House-
The guest house of the University is located within the University campus and is providing round the clock boarding and lodging services to
guests. Guest house rooms are allotted to University guests free of cost and to other state or central govt. organizations, Universities, public sector
undertakings on request, subject to availability, on payment. However, first priority is given to the University activities.
Mess /Canteen-
The mess facility is available in the University in all the hostels. A canteen is also running in the campus during working days which is open
for all.
University Placement Cell (UPC)-
Since its inception, the cell is helping the students to be placed in various organizations across India and abroad. The UPC is dedicated to
support the students in their pursuit to get jobs in reputed organizations in India and abroad. Placement cell also regularly organizes specialized
lectures, workshops and job fairs to provide students a platform to showcase their talents.
SC/ST Cell-
The staff of the SC/ST cell is actively engaged in coordinating and solving the problems in the matter of admissions in the University, utilization
and timely disbursement of scholarships, accommodation in hostels, conduct of remedial coaching, UGC-NET coaching, competitive examination
coaching and other measures with a view to see that the education system succeeds in bringing the Schedule Castes and Scheduled Tribes to a
level quantitatively as well as qualitatively at par with the rest of the society. The cell is also instrumental in monitoring the implementation of
rule of reservation for SC/ST in admission and appointments on teaching as well as non-teaching posts. Further a Gold Medal also is awarded to
topper among the SC/ST students.
Coaching Centre’s for SC/ST/Minorities-
The University offers the following programmes for the development of SC/ST and minority students.
1. UGC Remedial Coaching Programme (RCP): Under RCP, additional coaching is provided to the students who face difficulties in learning the subject concerned
and English language. In addition, it conducts classes for personality development.
2. UGC NET Coaching Programme: It offers special coaching for joint CSIR–UGC NET examinations which are being conducted twice a year.
3. Residential Coaching Academy (RCA): This Programme offers special coaching for Civil Services (IAS/IPS/IFS), State Services, SSC, RRB and other
competitive examinations which are being conducted by the Central and State Governments.
4. Dr. Ambedkar Centre of Excellence: The DACE will provide specialized free coaching to the only Scheduled Caste students for the Civil Services Examination
conducted by the UPSC. In order to nourish the aspirants of civil services, the Centre will provide best coaching facility to the 100 selected candidates
belonging to Scheduled Caste community through Common Entrance Test. The Centre will provide good infrastructure facilities of library, Hi-speed internet,
Reading Room to the students for preparing them for most prestigious competitive examination of the country. The DACE will have dedicated qualified,
professional faculties and resource persons for providing a best coaching to the students through class room teaching, seminars, expert interaction, mock test
and interviews etc.
Sports-
A healthy person keeps a healthy and active mind and sports are the best mechanism to accomplish that objective. The University, being
sensitive for the overall development of students, realizes that a balance in physical, mental and emotional growth is essential for the complete
development of personality.
At present, the University has a multipurpose sports ground in the campus having facilities like Football, Volleyball, Cricket, athletics etc.
In addition, there is an indoor Gymnasium equipped with all modern facilities for physical training. Indoor games like Badminton, Table Tennis,
Chess, and Carom facilities are available. All the games, indoor and outdoor, are facilitated by experts and trainers. University is sure that these
facilities would instill in students a sense of confidence besides physical fitness. It would help them in becoming a complete human being so that
they can withstand the challenges of life.
Similarly, to develop a sense of social and civic responsibility among the students, BBAU NSS wing was started with following objectives:
1. To make understand the community in which they work.
2. To understand themselves in relation to their community.
To identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem-solving.
Hostel-
Hostel facilities is available for girls and boys. Allotment of the hostel will be done according to University Policy.
