Your offer is based on academic entry. If you require a Student Route Visa to study in the UK you will
need to meet the UKVI requirement before a Certificate of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) is issued by
the university. If you are required to undertake an English Language test as part of your conditions for
a sub-degree course (i.e. foundation year) this will need to be taken at an UKVI approved Secure
English Language Test Centre. Further information can be found on https://www.gov.uk/student-visa.

If you are a government-sponsored student, please arrange for a letter of sponsorship/financial

guarantee to be e-mailed to the income team at income.team@solent.ac.uk. Non UK applicants will be
asked to pay a deposit of 50% (£3000 for Jan 2021 intake) of the annual tuition fee or the full fees (if
less than 50%) on acceptance of an unconditional offer and prior to receiving a CAS. This sum will be
refundable only if an applicant is unable to secure the relevant UK visa (please refer to the Terms and
Conditions). Living expenses are additional to the course fees quoted above and are around £1023 per
month.
