LETTER OF OFFER
Your application to study Bachelor of Biomedicine at Victoria University (VU) has been
conditionally approved. I am pleased to offer you the opportunity to study at VU as an
international student, subject to meeting the conditions outlined in this Letter of Offer. You
must meet these conditions before you can enrol at Victoria University.
You may be eligible to receive the Future Leaders Scholarship (International). The
Scholarship provides 20% off your tuition fees for the first two study periods. The
scholarship assessment will be finalised when you are eligible for a full offer. The
course fees for the first two study periods displayed in this letter of offer have already
been updated to include this scholarship. Please see Section 4: Course and Fee Details
for further information.

SECTION 2: YOUR FEE DEPOSIT
In recognition of the current COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainties that it may cause you,
Victoria University requires a reduced deposit for your first academic course (non-ELICOS) to
accept this offer. The remaining balance of the tuition fee deposit will be payable before your
course start date.
*This amount represents a reduced deposit of the total tuition fee deposit you will need to pay to commence your
studies at Victoria University. You can accept your offer by paying this reduced amount, and the remaining
balance will need to be paid before your course start date. Alternatively, you can pay the full tuition fee deposit
amount now, which is equal to your first semester of fees for the course Bachelor of Biomedicine (HBBM). Please
refer to Section 4 Course and Fee Details to find your first semester fees amount.

SECTION 4: COURSE AND FEE DETAILS – ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

HBBM Course delivery is on-campus at Victoria University, with the additional following
delivery modes:
Community learning: Unit RBM2540 - Pathophysiology; 4 hours supported offsite
unit.
The VU Future Leaders Scholarship (International) is available for new
international students applying for higher education diplomas, undergraduate and
postgraduate (coursework) courses. The Scholarship provides 20% off your
tuition fees for the first two study periods. If you receive no advanced standing
from your previous study and enrol in a course longer than two-semesters, you
may also be eligible for an extension of this scholarship. The extension provides
10% off your tuition fees for the remainder of your study. You must maintain a 60
course Weighted Average Mark (WAM) to receive the scholarship in subsequent
semesters. Victoria University may make changes to the scholarship terms and

Non-Refundable Deposit
Your tuition fee deposit includes a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 if you give written notice of a
withdrawal or an inability to study more than 90 days before the Course Start Date, otherwise a non-
refundable deposit of $3,000. There is only a non-refundable deposit for the first semester of the first
course – there is no non-refundable deposit for other Study Periods.
Compulsory Materials
In order to complete a course, you may be required to purchase certain materials. The price paid is
not considered part of your Course Fees.

under VU’s policy, managed by Allianz, you will need to pay the OSHC fee to VU. Alternatively, you
