TIPS ABBREVIATION
- Try working �ght s�tches. Use a smaller crochet This pa�ern is wri�en in US Standard Crochet
hook for be�er result. Terms, and assumes knowledge of basic s�tches.
IMPORTANT NOTE: - R = row/Round
 Do not work too �ght, so the plushie is s�ll - MR = magic ring
stretchable. - st = s�tch/s�tches
 Work every part using the same s�tch - sc = single crochet
tension. - inc = sc increase (2 sc in the same st)
- Count your s�tches. - inc3 = 3 sc in the same st
- Use a s�tch marker or a piece of yarn to mark - dec = sc decrease (crochet 2 st together)

SPECIAL STITCHES Crochet Surface Slip Stitches


Insert hook into crocheted fabric from the front to

Bobble stitches
In this pa�ern, bobble s�tch is made by working 3

Tiger Girl
With orange yarn, make a loop between R16-17
(the color changing round between skin color and
orange), then make some surface slip stitches
around.
HEAD AND BODY
Start with orange yarn. Leave a long star�ng yarn
tail, approximately 10 cm (4”). This tail will be R17
used to join both �ger and �ger girl at the end of R16

Hold the body so that its bottom is facing you.
Attach the dark brown yarn at the first st of R20

Make: [sl st, sc, hdc inc, sc]x15. Sl st to the first st


of this round. Fasten off, secure and hide the tails.
Then, make a round of sl st at the FL of R20, using
orange yarn.

FL of R20

First, sew the chains of hair at the back of the


head, right under the FL le� of R10 (you worked
R11 BLO). Make sure you don’t cover the FL.

HAIR FL of R10

The hair is worked in rows using dark brown yarn.


First, make 32ch. Fasten off, leave a long tail for
sewing.
Then, attach a new piece of yarn to the first s�tch
of the 32ch. Make [10ch, start from the second
loop from the hook: work 9sc back down the
10ch. Then skip one st, sl st at the next st]x16.
Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.
Sew the hair at the back of the head, right at the
color changing round between light beige and
skin color. It is recommended to set the posi�on
of the hair using some pin needles before sewing.

Also, sew some parts of each hair strands to fix


the position of the hair.

EARS (make 2)
Make some embroideries at the front part of the
head using the dark brown tail. Start with light beige yarn. Work in rows.
R1 : 4sc in MR (4),
Pull �ght, do not join.
5 st
Change to dark brown, then make 1ch.
R2 : turn, FLO 4inc (8)
Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.
5 rounds

2 st
ARMS (make 2)
Start with skin color yarn.
R1 : 6sc in MR (6)
R2 : [sc, inc]x3 (9)
Now, make a round of sl st at the FL of R10, using Change to orange.

R5 : dec, 7sc (8)
Make a round of surface slip s�tch between R2-3
using dark brown yarn.
No need to stuff (or just stuff a li�le bit, not more
than 50% of its height).
Last round: fla�en and work through both s�tches
4sc (4). Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.

MUZZLE
Make an oval by croche�ng around the
founda�on ch. Start with light beige. Make a
founda�on ch: 4ch.
R1 : From the second ch from hook: 2sc, then
inc3 in the last st. Con�nue on the other
side of the founda�on ch: sc, inc (8)
R2 : inc, sc, 3inc, sc, 2inc (14)
R3 : 14sc (14)
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Do an
invisible finish.

BOW
Start with light beige. In a magic ring, make:
3ch, 3dc, 3ch, 2slst, 3ch, 3dc, 3ch, slst.
Tighten the magic ring. Using the yarn tail, make
some turns to create the central part of the bow.
Secure the end. Leave a long tail for sewing.

ASSEMBLY

- Attach the ears of the �ger cap between R4-7
- Attach the muzzle of the �ger cap between R7-9
(Stuff with fiberfill)
- Attach the arms, between R17-18.

And also the mouth using dark brown yarn (use

- Embroider the rosy cheeks using peach yarn,
between R15-16
- Embroider some stripes on the cap and body
using dark brown yarn.

JOINING THE TIGER AND TIGER Join the last rounds of the �ger and the �ger girl.
Sew them together with orange tail through the
GIRL BL of each piece. To finish, make a knot and hide
the tail.
Flip the �ger and the �ger girl so the ugly sides are
facing you. Tie a knot with the yarn tails from the
magic rings of both �ger and �ger girl, leaving a
space between them.

Flip the �ger girl back so the good side is facing


you, but keep the �ger stay with the ugly side. No
need to stuff with fiberfill. Push the �ger inside
the �ger girl. Since there is not any shared part
between them, it is op�onal to make the posi�on
of both faces match up.

Notes: If you want the �gers as separated toys (not as a


reversible one), you can close the hole by sewing
You can also make a reversible toy between the a round flat piece as the base.

Stuff the body with fiberfill (you can con�nue
stuffing while sewing the base).
Prepare a circular piece of cardboard or rigid
plas�c to fit inside the bo�om of the body. This
will help the toy to stand well.
Place the cardboard/rigid plas�c to the bo�om,
and sew the base to the BL of the last round of the
body.
