For the first enrolment to the programme, the percentage of tuition fee waiver is based on
CGPA of Bachelor’s Degree conferred.

PROGRESSIVE SCHOLARSHIP
Candidate’s eligibility for the progressive scholarship will be assessed through semesterly
progress report, other criteria are as below:

• Must be registered as a Full Time XMUM student for the postgraduate

programme.
• Must NOT be sponsored by or receiving salary from any Federal/State/Statutory
Bodies or any other organization.
• Candidate with good publications record will be given priority.
• Qualification to Progressive Scholarship through research grade can be
summarized as follows:

**The candidate who has granted with entitlement lower than 100% may appeal for upgrade if he/she
has demonstrated good research performance subjected to the approval of faculty committee panel.
***US – The candidate is unable to demonstrate an acceptable level of performance in semesterly
research progress.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Students are only eligible for either a Scholarship OR a Study Grant for the 1st term
of study
• Students awarded with a study grant are eligible to apply for the Progressive
Scholarship from the 2nd term of study.
• Scholarships will be reviewed every 6-month term upon enrolment.
• The recipient of the scholarship required to assist academic member in several
services. The service can be in terms of being a course tutor, grading homework,
and providing academic assistance such as helping the department to run seminars,
organize events and invigilate exams.
