Activity

• Select a topic from Micro Economics subject matter (a common course unit for all the first
years) on your choice and form your presentation.
• Select a simple topic so that your presentation can be well-timed.
• Include only (meaningful) points to the slides.
• Elaborate them without reading the slides.
• Simply reading the slides may result in low marks.
• Study the rubric, so you will be clear with allocation of marks.
• A collection of necessary language phrases is attached.
• Practise several times before you present.
• Presentation assessments will be started from the first week of October 2021.
• Students will be called over according to the presence of their name in the attendance sheet
(first five – first week, then the last five – second week, - starting from the two ends and moving
towards the middle).
• If you do not present in the given date and time, you will be given a chance, once all of your
colleagues are done (Your name will be recorded in red which shows your irresponsible nature.
• If we feel that you are copying the slides from others and use the same topic, marks will be
reduced. Hence, make sure to make a unique presentation.

• Recordings are uploaded to the VLE.
• Transcripts of the recordings will be provided for self-practice.
• Listening test will be conducted in the 10th week of the semester (Mid-November 2021).
• Those who are absent for the test will be given a common test before the semester exam on an
informed day.

Continuous Assessment 3 (Grammar)

Allocated Marks 10

Mode Grammar Test on VLE (through zoom livestream)

Duration 30 minutes

Delivery Mode Individual

Assessment Mode Through an answer key

• Need to study and practice all the grammar points taught in the course work book.
• Grammar test will be conducted in the final week of the semester (End-November 2021).
• Those who are absent for the test will be given a common test before the semester exam on an
informed day.

Your grading for the Continuous Assessment will be notified to you before the semester
examination.
If your grading is not given, you need to immediately contact the subject lecturer.
