The past few years were a trial filled period for the entire nation and the world. It was
barely two years since we commenced face-to-face classes after the lifting of restrictions brought
about by the pandemic, and our nation has yet to fully recover.

Filipinos are known to be resilient and would normally mourn and sigh for a period and
then continue to move on. However, if we are to fast-track full recovery and development, we
must all be equipped with proper knowledge which could only be provided by proper and
resilient education foundation. Resiliency and knowledge are our arms and ammunition in
managing and overcoming whatever misfortune that may befall on us.

This year’s theme, “Gradweyt ng K to 12: Hinubog ng Matatag na Edukasyon”, aptly

emphasizes that being resilient requires a skill set that you can work on and grow over time.
Education enhances the ability of one to withstand adversity and bounce back from difficult life
events.

My hopes towards the students of this school are high and am also confident that they
will turn out to be good, productive and resilient citizens of our barangay and country in the near
future.

In behalf of the office and the barangay council for which I represent, I would like to
congratulate this year’s graduating batch of students from Bunguiao Elementary School. The
same is also extended to the teachers and parents who continually hone the students in the
school and in the homes.
