I am writing to introduce myself as a candidate for a Senior Consultant position in Deloitte’s Strategy &
Operations practice. I learned of this opportunity through an acquaintance - Dennis Pang - a consultant out of
the Hong Kong office, and after speaking to him at length about the position and company culture, I believe I
am well suited to join Deloitte HK in this capacity.
As the attached resume indicates, I have over a year of engagement experience including operational
strategy and performance improvement with a focus on supply chain analytics, financial modelling, and
program management. As a Business Analyst at Ernst & Young, I have taken on Senior Consultant-level
responsibilities in my last two projects due to my capability in managing other analysts, owning multiple work
streams efficiently, and my ability to build and maintain client relationships. In my last project at an
international publishing firm for example, the client sponsor asked for my role to be extended twice due to my
quick turnaround of deliverables, professionalism when leading client workshops, and knack in being an
effective team player.
Not only does the Senior Consultant position represent a logical next step in my desired career path, but
it also offers a unique opportunity to join a prestigious firm with an extremely strong yet still growing
consulting practice in a city I call home.
