ENGINE TYPE S42MC (with mechanical lubricator)

Dear Sirs,
We would like to inform about the compatibility of the cylinder liner.

There are two kinds of the cylinder liner for the S42MC type engine, design for mechanical
lubricator and alpha lubricator.

Hereafter, we will supply the cylinder liner which is designed as the alpha lubricator because the
cylinder liner design for alpha lubricator has the compatibility of design for mechanical lubricator.

When install the alpha type liner to the mechanical lubricator engine, it is necessary to install with
Non return valve and Pipe joint with gasket.
They will be supplied with the alpha type liner.

Please refer to next page.

We would like to inform difference when installing liner for alpha lubricator to engine with
mechanical lubricator.

2. Installation2 “Non return valve”
When fix the “Non return valve” on the liner, to be measured the depth according to the drawing.

3. Installation 3 “Piping
Due to the different angle of the “Non return vale” it is necessary to have slight modification of the
piping as below pictures. The position of the “Non return valve” is estimate 50mm shifted clockwise.
Therefore, to fit the tip of blanch pipes, it is necessary to bend the pipe slightly.
