This Bulletin informs about:

1. Launch Integrity Tester “Membra-Check II”

Starting December 2011 the Product Line Sterile Air, Steam & Liquid Filtration is pleased to
launch the new Membrane Filter Integrity Tester “Membra – Check II”. This very handy and
cost-effective instrument is capable to perform a Pressure Hold Test to check and evaluate the
integrity of membrane filter elements. Furthermore the instrument is capable to run Volume
Checks from 0,1 to 150 liter for instance to derive the net volume of filter housings.

The instrument comes with the following standard accessories included:

 Power Supply
 Battery Charger
 RS232 data cable
 Outlet tube
 Keyboard
 Operation Manual
 Calibration Certificate
 CE Certificate
 Password
 Software program “it-collect” for the administration of all filter test programs in a PC
(Windows XP or comparable Software).

Additional (optional) accessories are listed below and may be ordered as well:
 External Printer (including equipment)
 Volume Reference Vessels
 Volume Measurement Unit
 USB Data cable
 Various Connections
 Software “Vol V1.2” (to calculate the net volume)

Please note: To perform a Pressure Hold Test the net volume of the filter housing needs to be
known. In case the net volume is not known a volume check is mandatory. To perform this
volume check the Volume Reference Vessel and the Volume Measurement Unit are needed,
which are not part of the delivery scope (they need to be ordered separately).
