A. CLAVICLE BONE:
Identify the following landmarks on the Clavicle Bone
• Sternal End
o Impression of the costoclavicular Ligament
• Acromial End
o Conoid tubercle- Attachment of the Conoid Ligament
o Trapezoid line- Attachment of the Trapezoid Ligament
• Superior Surface (Smooth)
• Inferior Surface (Rough)
• Subclavian Groove
Be able to side the Clavicle Bone
B. SCAPULA BONE:
Identify the following Landmarks on the Scapula:
• Spine of the scapula
• Supraspinous fossa
• Infraspinous fossa
• Subscapular fossa
• Borders:
o Medial border
o Lateral border
o Superior border (with suprascapular notch)
• Angles
o Superior angle
o Inferior angle
o Acromial angle
• Coracoid process
• Acromion
• Glenoid cavity

C. HUMERUS BONE:
Identify the three parts of the Humerus:
• The proximal end
• The shaft
• The distal end
D. ULNA BONE:
Identify the three parts of the Ulna:
• The proximal end
• The shaft
• The distal end

• Trochlear notch
• Olecranon
• Coronoid process
• Tuberosity of Ulna
• Radial Notch
• Supinator crest
E. RADIUS BONE:
Identify the three parts of the Radius:
• The proximal end
• The shaft
• The distal end

• Radial Styloid process
• Dorsal tubercle of radius
F. HAND BONES:
Identify the 8 Carpal bones:
• Proximal Row- From lateral to medial:
o Scaphoid (largest in proximal row)
o Lunate
o Triquetrum
o Pisiform (lies on palmar surface of triquetrum
• Distal Row- From lateral to medial:
o Trapezium
o Trapezoid
o Capitate (largest carpal bone)
o Hamate
G. JOINTS:
Identify, classify, and name the bones/ articular surfaces of the following
joints
• Sternoclavicular joint
• Acromioclavicular joint
• Shoulder (glenohumeral) joint
• Elbow joint
• Radioulnar joints
• Wrist joint
