It’s important to celebrate the special moments! Connecting with family and friends is vital to maintaining
our emotional well-being, even during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The best way to protect your loved ones
this season is to get vaccinated for COVID-19.

Top Holiday Tips & Social Gathering Guidelines.


1. Get vaccinated, and get your booster if you're eligible.
2. Wear a mask in public indoor spaces.
3. Gather outside, or in well ventilated areas.
4. Stay at home and get tested if you're having any symptoms of COVID-19.
5. Wash your hands frequently, including before and after preparing food.

Good day!

Sharing with you about “ DENGUE”

Dengue fever and dengue hemorrhagic fever are acute viral infections that are caused by the bite of the
dengue-carrying mosquito.

Remember: If you have been experiencing symptoms of dengue fever and notice the following, seek
medical attention urgently.

 Bleeding from the nose, gum, eyes or skin


 Blood vomit or stool
 Vomiting (at least 3 times in 24hrs)
 Stomach tenderness of pain

Dengue can be avoided by practicing the 4-S against the disease which stands for:

FLU (INFLUENZA), COUGH AND COLD

The monsoon season occurs where rainfall happens more commonly than usual. During this season, the
risk of common illness is more general due to weather changes; the transmission of bacteria and viruses
may affect the immune system. Here are the 10 common diseases spread during the rainy season are:

 Influenza: Diseases produced by flu virus plagues.


 Cough and cold: The most frequent cause of coughs and colds is rhinovirus, spreading through
the air.

Stay Informed - Check for Updates: Check your local news for extreme heat alerts and safety tips and to
learn about any cooling shelters in your area.
