We are fourth-year Political Science students of Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of


Technology currently conducting a study entitled "Implementation of RA 9262 otherwise known as
the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004 at the Time of Pandemic: The
Case of PNP, Iligan City." This study aims to look into the implementation of R.A. 9262 by the PNP
and their partner agencies in Iligan City during the pandemic.

Research Title: Implementation of RA 9262 otherwise known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and
their Children Act of 2004 at the Time of Pandemic: The Case of PNP, Iligan City

INTRODUCTION: Good day! You are invited to participate in this research study involving the use of
RA 9262 during the Covid 19 pandemic. We ask that you answer the interview guide as honestly
as possible. Rest assured that any information you provide will be treated with strict
confidentiality and used solely for academic purposes. Please note that you have complete
discretion whether to participate or not.

WHAT IS INVOLVED IN THIS STUDY? We, the 4th year BA Political Science students of the Mindanao
State University - Iligan Institute of technology in Iligan City, Philippines, are writing a research paper that
aims to look into the implementation of R.A. 9262 by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and their
partner agencies in Iligan City during the COVID-19 Pandemic. If you decide to participate, you will be
interviewed regarding your knowledge about this topic. Please keep in mind that there are no
right or wrong answers. This interview will last for thirty minutes.

WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS AS A RESEARCH PARTICIPANT?
