The meeting of the Project Evaluation Committee was convened on

03.08.2023, chaired by PED/GS, to discuss the DPRs of below mentioned
projects.

The meeting was participated by: -

A presentation was given by CPM/GS/Jhansi on the Project of Redevelopment of

Khajuraho Railway Station. Following points and observations were raised during
the presentation:
Based on the information and justification provided by CPM/GS, it is observed
that:
a. There is no yard remodelling and signalling involved in the scope of work
b. It was informed that telecom work has been taken up as extant policy.
c. Schematic is approved by competent authority.
d. In case any component of project requires alteration in yard / layout, the same
shall be undertaken after execution of the alteration.
e. The traffic projections of number of passengers / number of footfalls at the
station have been worked out based on CRIS data. The projections are
confirmed / agreed by the Division / Zone.
As per the presentation of DPR & Master Plan by the CPM/GS and the
justification given for the project for the substantial benefit to the bona-fide
passenger, ED Committee recommends taking the project forward at a total
cost of Rs 217.97 crore (estimate attached in annex-A)
