Good evening po sating lahat, it is a great privilege po again to be able to stand here in front

preaching the word of God. Kaya namn hindi na po tayo pag papakatagal. Let’s open our bible
in the book of Luke 15:4-6

4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety
and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them,
Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
(PRAY)

Sa mga talata na binasa po natin pinka highlight po nito is iyong Lost Sheep. Yung shepherd
meron syang 100 sheeps, iniingatan nya, pinaka binatantayan but then all of a sudden nung
kincount na po sila ulit may isang nawawala, the question kaya nya bang iwan yung 99 sa
wildreness para lang hanapin yung isa? Siguro kung satin po ano, meron tayong 100 then
nawala yung isa, though may value yung isang tupa, pero parang ang hirap iwanan yung 99 na
walang ibang mag babantay para lang hanapin yung isa? Tendency mas marami pa yung
mawala kapag iniwan po natin at d na binantayan. But the blessing on this story is that, yung
shepherd hinahanap parin po nya iyong nawawalang sheep.

Throughout the Bible, God uses the metaphor of sheep to describe his people.
Ginamit po ng Panginoon yung tupa para ihalintulad sa tao ano po?
Ano nga po ba ang meron sa tupa kung bakit ito po yung ganamit to describe his people.
As I study this message nag research po ako patungkol sa sheep. At sabi po saking research.

Sheep are dim-witted(ignorant,stupid, brainless, parang ang sakit, mabigat yung pag
kakadiscribe saknya), easily distracted (mabilis po sila madistract, sguro my makita lng na
colorful distracted na agad), and prone to wander into dangerous areas. (napupunta sila saan
saan specially to dangerous aread, Without even thinking twice, they’ll go wherever they want
that could lead them to danger?

May napanuod nga po ako ano sa FB (TAO Tinulungan yung sheep) *So they are prone to
dngerius areas.

Then I came to realize ganun ba talaga tayo nakikita ng Panginoon? Sheep? WHY SHEEP?
Dati akala ko sheep kasi puti malinis maamo, masunurin and many more. Kaya akala ko okay
yung pag kaka describe po satin as sheep but then hndi pala.

Hndi po ba tayo ihalintulad sa Dog wherein very loyal d po ba? The Dolphin na joyful and alway
having fun. Why sheep among all animals.

Sabi po ni Charles Darwin sa kanya pong Theory. The Theory of Evolution na ang tao ay galing
sa unggoy, hanggang nag evolve nlng po ng nag evolve, And we don’t accept that? Right, kasi I
am created by God, at sinabi nya in HIs own image kaya namn unggoy is unggoy, tao ay tao
and we’ll never beleive that nor accept. D po sya katanngap tanggap.
But then parang mahirap din po tanggapin na hinalintulad po tayo sa sheep ngayon na may
background na po tayo pantungkol sa sheep.

The theologian Charles Spurgeon said this about sheep:

A sheep is of all creatures the most senseless. (Walang pakiramdam, nasasaktan yes, but they
don’t have sense of danger) If we have lost a cat or dog, it may find its way home again; a dove
kalapati dalhin po natin sa ibang lugar it can go back home, but a sheep will wander on and on,
in endless mazes lost.

When I read that description, I can’t be too offended by God’s choice of using this animal to
describe his people.

Before I installed an application para control ko po yung usage ko ng social media. Na using
that app, I forgot the name, parang after an hour of using your phone, it will authotically lock you
out for about 15 mins. Why? So that I don’t get lost in “endless mazes.”
Naka kailangan consistent yung break ng eyes po natin sa radiation phone but then.
D ko din po sya sinusunod, mapuputol yung pinapanuod ko ilolock nung phone yung screen,
pero iuunlock ko po sya ulit, till inusinstall ko nlng.
Dun ko napatunayan na yes I am sheep. There’s something na tumutolong sakin to control my
self but then gagawin ko parin yung gusto kong gawin.

We were once lost, but now we’re found. And we still get lost sometimes, nanlalamig,
nawawalan ng gana sa gawain, napapalayo yung loob natin sa Panginoon. But the good thing is
God is always there to accept us for who we are, even what we’ve done.

This evening I want to share with you po, 3 lessons in this passage.

1. God loves you more than you can imagine.

He is willing to leave the 99, so He can save you! Dun palang mapapatunayan na natin kung
gaano po tayo kamahal ng Panginoon.

Suppposedly kung mas pinili nting lumayo hahayaan nya nlng po tayo e, but no, lalayo ka man,
mawala ka man hahanapin at hahanapin ka nya.

A lost sheep doesn’t need to be scolded. It needs to be rescued.

And that’s what the shepherd in the story does. He leaves the 99 to find the lost sheep.
You are so important to God that if you leave Him by choosing to live your life without Him, He
will follow you to the ends of the earth. He stays by your side, no matter if you acknowledge Him
or not. There’s nothing you can do that will stop Him from loving you. This is His how He show
amazing love for you!
2. You are welcome to His Kingdom – Always.

The moment you choose to turn to Him, He’ll open His arms and celebrate your return. His
greatest joy is having one of His lost return home.
He leaves the 99 to find the lost sheep, and masayang masaya po syang bumalik carrieing that
lost sheep way back to safety on His shoulder. YOU’RE ALWAYS PRTECTED, YOU’RE
ALWAYS LOVE, YOU’RE ALWAYS WELCOME TO HIS KINGDOM.

3. God never gives up on you.

No matter how long you stray, it doesn’t matter kung gano ka katagal lumayo, gaano ka katagal
ng tampo saknya, gaano ka katagal hndi kinausap sya. Hndi ka nya binitawan. Bumitaw ka man
sa mga pangako nya, pero sya hndi sya bibitaw sa mga Pangako nya sayo. All He ask is for us
ton humble ourselves again and ask for forgiveness for everything we’ve done. Above all anak
nya parin po tayo at ama po natin sya. All you have to do is come home to Him again. .

The LORD YOUR GOD IS WILLING TO LEAVE THE 99 TO FIND YOU! THAT HOW HE
LOVES, PANTAY PANTAY ANG PAG MAMAHAL NYA SATIN, REMEMBER THAT THE
MOMENT YOU STRAY, HE WILL AND WILL ALWAY HELP YOU TO GO BACK HOME SAFE
AND SOUND RESTING IN HIS SHOULDER.
