The guided discovery method is a method that requires students to find learning information and
involves students to be able to find solutions to learning problems that cannot be separated from
teacher guidance. This study aims to produce mathematics learning tools with guided discovery
methods on three-dimensional material in class XII SMA that have been tested for feasibility.
Learning tools in the form of lesson plans (RPP) and student worksheets (LKPD). This study uses the
R&D method with the following steps: potential and problems, data collection, product design,
design validity, design revision and final product. In the R&D method, researchers did not use the
pilot stage because school learning in the 2021/2022 school year was carried out online. The data
collection technique used was validation data from two Mathematics Education Lecturers, FKIP UIR,
one Mathematics Teacher at YLPI Pekanbaru. The data analysis technique used is validation data
analysis and practical data analysis (validator response) to mathematics learning tools. From the
results of the study, the results of the RPP validation were 89.72% with very valid criteria and 92.25%
LKPD validation results with very valid criteria. While the results of practicality (validator response)
to the RPP 80% with practical criteria and practicality results (validator response) to LKPD 79.86%
with practical criteria. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the development of
mathematics learning tools using the guided discovery method on three-dimensional material is
feasible to be used and tested in class XII SMA.
