TOPIC: Identifying common safety tips that you can use to protect yourself while you are
working with metal.

OBJECTIVE

Identify and Describe types of food security programs applied in the food industry. Use
the Simple Present, Technical Vocabulary and Modals (should, must and can).

WORK APPROACH

Using audiovisual aids (PPT, video, etc.), the participant will be able to identify and describe
the types of safety programs applied in the food industry, using vocabulary appropriate to the
level of learning required in their career (The Simple Present Tense, Technical Vocabulary,
Modals).

1. Present Simple

I wear eye protection at all times.

My companions always make sure of the jewelry you are


wearing, as well as long hair and loose clothing.

Every time I have to enter the bakery, I always wear an


apron to protect my body from the heat.

The gentlemen who work in the bakery now use face masks
to protect the product from microorganisms.

2. Technical Vocabulary
Gloves, gauntlets, mittens. Its main purpose is to protect
hands and arms while performing tasks. May be required
when:
• handling abrasive, sharp or pointed objects.
• construction
• chemicals or hazardous substances (body fluids)
• hot or cold materials. • glass cutting or handling.

Body protection
Protect from serious workplace injuries or illnessesresulting
from contact with chemical, radiological,physical, electrical or
mechanical hazards.May be required while:

• areas with moving transport
• outdoor maintenance
• in the kitchen

We should take a good look at the labels of the products
we handle.

The bakeries should know the protection that exists within
the food industry
there are many bakeries that should know about the new
standards for the industry.
MUST
We must be very responsible when pro protecting
ourselves.

The worker must always carry their safety equipment


when entering the Food plant.

You can always comply with the new health and safety
practices to avoid dangerous situations.

You can use safety boots so that you do not slip inside the
plant
Every time we enter the workshop. I always go with my
safety implements because I can have an accident.
