1. What is leadership?  

The art of empowering a group of individuals to work together toward a common goal is
known as leadership. This will mean directing employers and coworkers with a plan to fulfill
the company's needs in a business setting.

2. Explain the difference between leadership and management.  

Leadership is about persuading others to understand and believe in the company's vision
and work with you to achieve your objectives, while management is more about overseeing
and ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly.
 
3. State three importance of leadership.

4. What are two dimensions of leadership from the University of Michigan studies?  
 The Michigan Leadership Studies were a well-known series of leadership studies initiated by
Rensis Likert at the University of Michigan in the 1950s with the goal of identifying the
concepts and kinds of leadership styles that contributed to increased efficiency and job
satisfaction among employees.

5. Give two assumptions of trait theories of leadership.  

Effective leaders, according to trait leadership theory, have a set of personal traits in
common that help them mobilize others toward a common goal. These characteristics
include personality traits and motivations, skill sets and abilities, and social behavior.
