amalgamation of these traits makes Mrs. Indurkar a formidable professional, adept at
fostering collaboration, achieving goals, and inspiring those around her.
2.Locus of Control:

4
Based on Mrs. Indurkar's response to the question regarding the outcome of a task despite
giving it her best effort, it appears that she holds a belief in an external locus of control with
elements of internal locus of control.

An external locus of control refers to the belief that outcomes are primarily influenced by
external factors such as luck, fate, or other people's actions. Mrs. Indurkar's statement,
"sometimes things are not in your hand," suggests that she acknowledges the presence of
external factors that can impact the results of a task, even if she puts in her maximum effort.

On the other hand, elements of an internal locus of control are evident in her statement, "have
you done whatever you could have done." This indicates that she also recognizes the
importance of personal effort and responsibility in achieving success. If she perceives that she
has not done everything she could have, she attributes the failure to her own actions or
shortcomings, suggesting a sense of personal accountability.

It is worth noting that Mrs. Indurkar's response reflects a balanced perspective, where she
considers both internal and external factors in determining the outcome of a task. This
balanced view can be beneficial as it allows her to take responsibility for her actions while
also acknowledging the influence of external circumstances.
2.Machiavellianism

Mrs. Indurkar's perspective on effectiveness highlights the significance she places on

experience as a key driver of success. Her belief that there is no substitute for experience
suggests that she values the knowledge and skills gained through years of practical
involvement in her field. This emphasis on experience aligns with certain aspects of
Machiavellianism, as individuals high in this trait often prioritize personal growth and self-
improvement to achieve their goals.

However, it is noteworthy that Mrs. Indurkar's approach to new ideas reveals a nuanced
viewpoint. While recognizing the potential of newcomers as great idea generators, she
remains cautious about solely relying on those ideas for execution. This guardedness is
indicative of her practical mindset and discerning nature, traits that are characteristic of
individuals with Machiavellian tendencies. By being open to listening to new ideas but not
completely dependent on them, she demonstrates a balanced approach that seeks to combine
the benefits of experience with the potential innovation offered by fresh perspectives.

In summary, Mrs. Indurkar exhibits traits associated with Machiavellianism, particularly in

her recognition of the importance of experience and her discerning attitude toward new ideas.
Nonetheless, her ability to strike a balance between the two indicates a pragmatic and

5
thoughtful approach to decision-making and leadership. By leveraging her experience while
remaining receptive to novel insights, she can effectively navigate the complexities of her
professional roles and drive success in her endeavors.

Narcissism

Mrs. Indurkar's response to the situation involving an apology to a junior showcases her
strong sense of self and a firm belief in her convictions. While she acknowledges her mistake
by taking her words back, her decision not to offer a formal apology might not necessarily be
indicative of narcissism.

Instead, her stance could be attributed to her sense of integrity and authenticity. Mrs.
Indurkar's unwillingness to apologize for her thoughts at that specific moment could stem
from a genuine belief that her thoughts and opinions at the time were valid and justified from
her perspective. It is important to recognize that genuine confidence and self-assurance can
sometimes be mistaken for narcissism when, in reality, they may simply reflect a person's
strong belief in their principles.

Moreover, her willingness to engage in conversation with the junior and take her words back
demonstrates a level of accountability and openness to constructive dialogue. This behavior
suggests that she is receptive to feedback and willing to make amends when she realizes the
impact of her words.

It is crucial to avoid making sweeping judgments based on a single scenario, as personality

traits can manifest differently in various situations. Further exploration and a holistic analysis
of Mrs. Indurkar's behavior and interactions in diverse contexts would be necessary to draw
more accurate conclusions about her personality traits, including the presence of narcissistic
characteristics.

Values at workplace

Mrs. Indurkar's workplace values of honesty and straightforwardness have had both positive
and negative impacts on her professional experiences. One incident that highlights the
positive influence of her values was when her team made an error in a project. She
demonstrated honesty by acknowledging the mistake to the senior team, even though they
were initially unaware of it. This candidness earned her appreciation from some members of
the senior team, who likely valued her integrity and accountability.

6
However, the incident also illustrates the potential negative consequences of being
straightforward in a professional setting. Mrs. Indurkar's refusal to sugarcoat the situation
might have led some members of the senior team to question her further and subject her to
unnecessary scrutiny. This kind of reaction may have arisen because straightforward
individuals often face resistance from those who prefer a more diplomatic or indirect
approach to communication.

The experience serves as a reminder that workplace values can impact one's interactions and
relationships with colleagues and superiors. While honesty and straightforwardness can be
valued and respected by some, they may also encounter resistance and even criticism from
others who prefer a different communication style. Nevertheless, it is essential to stay true to
one's values, as they can contribute to a positive work environment and foster trust among
team members, even if they might not be universally appreciated by everyone.

takes active steps to manage and optimize her productivity based on her emotional state and
work environment.

Working from home, Mrs. Indurkar practices self-awareness by recognizing the potential
distractions and negative influences around her. To counteract these effects, she adopts a
more introverted approach, refraining from engaging in unnecessary conversations and taking
time for herself. Going for a run provides her with an outlet for physical activity, which can
help relieve stress and improve her mood, ultimately contributing to her work focus and
efficiency.

In the office, Mrs. Indurkar is attuned to the atmosphere and energy of her surroundings. She
acknowledges the impact that negative vibes can have on her productivity. To address this,
she takes a moment to breathe and clear her mind before starting her tasks. This short break
allows her to reset her focus and remove any lingering negativity, enabling her to approach
her work with a refreshed perspective.

Mrs. Indurkar's hybrid work model reflects her adaptive approach to handling mood
fluctuations and their effects on her work. By being mindful of her emotional well-being and
taking appropriate actions based on her environment, she strives to optimize her work
performance and maintain a positive and focused mindset. This mindful and proactive
attitude demonstrates her commitment to self-care and creating a conducive work
environment for herself.

various learning situations, whether it be through practical tasks, experiments, or group
discussions. By immersing herself in the learning process, she gains a deeper and more
meaningful comprehension of the concepts at hand.

Moreover, Mrs. Indurkar's emphasis on observation indicates her keen eye for detail and her
ability to gather information by carefully analyzing her surroundings and experiences. This
habit of closely observing different situations enables her to identify patterns, draw insights,
and make informed decisions. By combining her active experimentation with astute
observation, she leverages her strengths to enhance her learning experiences and adapt her
knowledge to real-world applications effectively.

The synergy between active experimentation and observation in Mrs. Indurkar's learning style

where her contributions are valued and her impact on decision-making processes is
recognized. Being able to make a meaningful contribution and knowing that her
efforts are appreciated play a crucial role in her overall job satisfaction. This suggests
