ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Although I have put in a lot of work, the project's success will ultimately rest on the shoulders of
many people who have offered support and advice. Now is a good time for me to thank all those who
helped get this project across the finish line.
Prof. Manisha Seth, my Organizational Behaviour professor, has my sincere appreciation for her
helpful supervision and direction during this research. She also deserves my thanks for her kind
assistance in allowing me to utilise the essential evaluative test assessment and other materials.
Finally, I'd want to provide my sincerest appreciation to my family, friends, and well-wishers for
supporting me and helping me stay motivated during the duration of this endeavour.

INTRODUCTION
It's the process everyone goes through to figure out where they are physically, mentally, and
emotionally.
Why it is important?
Every desired accomplishment begins with an introspective examination of the individual's current
state of being. For this reason, we must first go on a quest inside ourselves. Taking the time to
examine our own personalities and values may help us grow into our ideal selves. It allows us to
consider our own history and the influences that have shaped us. When we do a self-analysis of
ourselves, we are able to pinpoint every area where developmentally appropriate adjustments may be
made.
Self-reflection is the driving force behind personal development and adoration of one's own person.
And development need both. It helps us focus our thoughts in the appropriate way. Positive
outcomes are what we're most interested in, so we prefer to concentrate on using our strengths to get
them. Even when we see flaws in the character of others around us, we make an effort to counteract
them via our own actions, fostering understanding and cooperation in our social and professional
networks. Thinking critically at our own behaviour helps us control our thoughts, words, and deeds.
And the secret to contentment and joy is a conscious attitude.

ANALYSIS
The Concept of the Johari window was given by Joseph Luft and Harry Ingham in 1955. It is a useful
tool for illustrating and improving self-awareness, and mutual understanding between people, and
improving oneself.
Arena: The arena or the Open area is the part of your personality that is known to you as well as to
others also.
These are those personality traits of mine that others have told me and I know it by myself.
Blind: Blind is the area that is known to others but is not known to you.
These are those personality traits of mine that are known to others but not to me.
Closed: Closed or the hidden area also known as façade is the area which is not known to others but
is known to you.
These are those personality traits that are known to me but are unknown to others.
Dark: Dark or the unknown is the area that is unknown to you as well as to others.
These are those personality traits that are unknown to you as well as to other people also.
CONCLUSION
We are at our most effective and productive when we have a vast space in which to operate, thus
making that space bigger should be the ultimate goal.
Better communication and teamwork will result from a more comfortable setting. It helps lessen
issues like distraction, distrust, muddled communication, disputes, and misunderstanding.
You may expand the space underneath the stadium by doing the following:
Feedback Solicitation: Seeking and actively listening to feedback from other people.
It reduces the Blind Area of the person and increases the arena.
Self-disclosure: The person’s disclosure of information, and feelings about himself to other people.
If the hidden area is discovered in a group, then it will move from the hidden area to the open area or
the arena, but if it is discovered by self then moves from the dark area to the blind area.
ANALYSIS
I would say that this is a pretty accurate description of who I am; nevertheless, I am startled by some
of the phrases that are used in the blind spot portion of the description. When I think of myself, I do
not think of myself as having intellectual qualities such as being clever, intelligent, knowledgeable,
or anything else along those lines. When I think of myself, I do not think of myself as having brainy
traits.
Gaining an understanding of oneself is the only way to progress as a person and become a better
person. Constantly working on oneself to become a better person and being honest about the
shortcomings we have in ourselves both aid in our development as individuals and in our ability to
establish stronger bonds with other people. I was given the role of "leader" in a few of the group
projects that I participated in. It is vital to possess leadership attributes like as self-assurance,
honesty, and trust in one's fellow teammates in order to be successful. If I had a good understanding
of myself, I'd be able to pinpoint my best qualities as well as the areas in which I need the most
work. My colleagues will make up for my shortcomings with the assets that they bring to the table.
Without a doubt, if they had their own analysis of their strengths and weaknesses, I as a "leader"
would be better able to understand them and encourage them, which would ultimately result in the
development of trust and relationships within the group itself as well as an improvement in
communication.
LOCUS OF CONTROL
The question number in the charts below denotes an individual's internal and external
locus of control.
Internal 1 2 3 4 7 11 14 15
Locus
External 5 6 8 9 10 12 13 16
Locus
Because I have a strong internal locus of control, I have the perception that I am in full
charge of everything that takes place in my life. This leads me to believe that this perception
is accurate. I consider myself to be a person who is self-motivated and who is dedicated to
achieving the goals that I have established for myself. As a result of the aforementioned
considerations, I am of the opinion that this individual have the potential to develop into an
efficient leader.
Having a very strong internal locus of control does, however, bring with it the chance of a
bad consequence. This is something that should be kept in mind. Because I have such a
strong belief in myself, it is possible that I may have trouble following instructions. As a
result, I need to be careful not to give the impression that I am arrogant or to "walk over"
other people in my efforts to achieve the objectives that I have established for myself.
If my plans don't work out, I tend to blame myself for the failure, even if the circumstances
that transpired were beyond my ability to influence. There are times when I have a tendency
to assume that I can control everything, and if my plans don't work out, I have a tendency to
blame myself for the failure. This might lead to feelings of frustration and anxiety, and in
more extreme cases, it could even lead to feelings of stress and melancholy.

ANALYSIS:
We can use SWOT Analysis to make the most of what we have, for our best benefit and we can reduce the
chances of defeat, by knowing what we are lacking of and by eliminating the threats that otherwise will
catch us unprepared.
STRENGTHS:
In my SWOT Analysis my strengths are that I have good communication skill, I can communicate well
with everyone and can connect with them easily; I am a realistic person, I understand the situation well
before doing anything and plan accordingly; and I am also a quick learner.
WEAKNESS:
Weaknesses are the attributes that hinder us from completing our purpose and reaching our full potential.
My weakness that I have mentioned in my SWOT Analysis are impatient, I get impatient quite easily and I
am highly emotional person, I can feel things more deeply.
OPPORTUNITIES:
Opportunities here means the things that a person can do to overcome their weaknesses.
I feel my opportunities will be getting an internship or live project on HR field since I want to work in that
field in my future where I can use all my strengths and overcome my weaknesses.
THREATS:
Threats are the obstacles that can hinder our career growth.
For me threat is anyone who will be willing to take HR as their specialization and want to join the same
dream company as mine.
ATTITUDE MEASUREMENT
RESULT:
My score according to the attitude measurement questionnaire is 80/100.
I sometimes tend to overthink and expect the worst so that I don’t get disappointed afterward. I need
to keep looking at the brighter side of the picture but at the same time, I should not be unrealistic.
Advocates may have big dreams, but they're not just wishful thinkers. These individuals
value honesty and will not rest easy until they have carried out their moral convictions. Integrity-
driven, they go through life knowing exactly what they stand for and making it a point to never lose
sight of what really important to them, not in the eyes of others or the general public, but in
accordance with their own insight and gut instinct.
I am also an introvert who enjoys time alone but who needs regular social interaction. I have
to find a way to go back to my people. A small group of pals are "my people" because they
understand me on a deep level. Having thought-provoking talks with them is invaluable, and just
being around them makes me feel more energised.
I have extreme varying degrees of extroversion, and can go from being very timid and quiet
to being highly charming, amusing, and funny. It depends on how I feel, how much energy I have,
and with whom I'm spending my time.
Even though I have strong sentiments for the people in my life, I seldom show them out of
fear of hurting their feelings. Although I feel things deeply, I don't always know how to put them
into words.

RESULT:
The result obtained from above questionnaire shows that the Extrinsic motivation factor play
a slightly more important role than as compared to extrinsic motivation factors. This tells me that
while selecting a job I value the factors that motivate me from within to take up that job more than
the materialistic factors. Although, I do not entirely neglect the extrinsic factors. They also carry
their own importance.

CONCLUSION:
According to my scoring I have scored highest in collaboration. This strategy aims to settle conflicts
by having the parties compromise on some of their respective interests in order to reach a resolution.
Each party will need to make some concessions in order for a resolution to the conflict to be reached;
yet, the price of peace is sometimes more than the sum of any one surrender. This strategy comes
into play when time is of the essence and a faultless solution is not necessary to satisfy the question. I
must make it a priority to improve my listening skills and my ability to work well with others so that
I can better comprehend the objectives, aims, and viewpoints of other people, which will allow me to
more accurately predict their requirements and negotiate on their behalf.

RESULTS:
My score says that I am a great team player as I understand the importance and value of
collaboration. You can count on me to do what the team needs. I know my place and don't use it to
help or give advice to people on my team who don't need it. Collaboration requires being open to
new ideas and information. Even if I think my own ideas are great, I should listen to what other
people have to say before I say they are great. If you have to say something bad about my work,
please bring it up. Look around for ways to help me with my problems. Find out how what I do
affects the group as a whole. Doing so will help me improve as a player and earn the respect of my
teammates. I'll do the homework that my teacher gives me. Since my responsibilities change, I'm
able to get better at my job and make a real contribution to the team. I learn something from
everything I do. When my team is under a lot of stress, we do better when we all have a positive
attitude. A positive attitude makes it easier to get along with others. I care a lot about how well the
team does, and I work well with others to reach our goals. Because of this, both the morale and
output of my crew have gone up.
CONCLUSION:
This Self Study Report helped me acquire a thorough understanding of who I am as a person,
including my view on life, my leadership style, the qualities I already possess as a leader, my core
values, and the places where I still have room to develop.
This research has given me insight that will help me build upon my strengths and address my
weaknesses. Since I now know my strengths and weaknesses better, I can set more realistic goals and
prioritise my efforts. After doing this exercise, I have a much clearer picture of my future goals and
the qualities that could help me achieve them. I have gained a clearer picture of my future strengths.
Furthermore, I am aware of the ways in which I may grow in the years to come if I put in the
necessary effort. More self-awareness and familiarity with one's own thoughts and experiences might
lead to a reduced reliance on the opinions of others. If I know what helps me, what is useful to me,
and what slows me down, then it doesn't matter what other people say or supply me with advise on
the direction I should travel. The things they tell me won't have any effect if I already know about
them. There will be a marked increase in my independence and my familiarity with myself. For me, I
can be relied upon as a reliable authority figure. When it comes to my thoughts and character, I am
the master of my own universe regardless of what's going on in the outside world. When one
considers the correlation between self-reliance and knowing one's own abilities and confidence.
Confidence in oneself may develop when one is well-aware of oneself and one's role in the
world. Understanding one's place in the world is a key factor in cultivating this trait.
