Join us on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 for OAPC’s fifth annual Asphalt Technical Symposium (ATS). Building on conversations and
standing objectives from the previous symposiums, we will explore our continuing focus on asphalt binder challenges and
solutions, and pathways for mix performance testing in Ontario.
This year, we collaborate with the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO), and industry partners. We look at the performance
testing of asphalt mixtures, with particular focus on the Ontario - Mix Asphalt Program (O-MAP) round 2 study findings and
next steps; continuing approaches to RAP usage (performance evaluation and guidance on incorporating high RAP contents),
and emerging considerations for binder testing and parameters. A tour of the MTO’s new laboratory facility is also included.
