2. Showing 8 videos (Dances, Songs, Cuisine), Abdul and Astin will instruct all the 10.55-11.00
participants to guess from which region they are in the chat room.

Role Play-Hidden Paradises in Indonesia Time

Instructions:
1. Hidden Paradise Seminar
2. There are two groups. Local people (each centre) and 5 investors (1
student from each centre)
3. In breakout room Both Local group and investor group will have 5

minutes. Local Group discusses about a region going to be presented-
handout given, and Investors discusses the components considered in
their investments - handout given.
11.05-11.20
4. In main room, each centre (1 student) will have 3 minutes to present a
region that is going to be invested, and the investors will consider any
component scored 1-3. (some feedbacks from others) 11.20- 11.25
5. The investors discuss the region winning the tender.

1. Lake Toba---the largest lake in Asia which has a big ecotourism potential.
2. Si Bea Bea Hill---“Samosir’s Rio de Janerio” with its attraction as the tallest Jesus statue
supported by Lake Toba panorama.

1. Monas--- the tallest monument in Jakarta and as the icon of Indonesia. It attracts all visitors
because without visiting Monas you are not officially ever visiting Jakarta.

Asia as lts strategic location with abundant resources.
3. Ondel- Ondel--- The cultural icon of Betawi. Designed traditionally with its appearance that
show how Indonesia .
Samarinda
1. Samarindah Park--- a green park that is mostly used by local people to have fresh air,
sporting activities and recreations.
2. Islamic Center Samarinda---the most beautiful and largest Mosque in Asia. This Mosque is
not only for worship but also as a tour destination for visitor to pray in.

1. Kendari Beach---usually called Kebi, most local peole and visitors enjoy sunset here.
2. MTQ Square--- almost every big events either from the private sectors or government events
are held here.
3. Taman Baca MTS--- public place with its local culinary. Here are many people spending
their weekend.

1. Bunaken Island---as an asset of Indonesia with its marine biota. The panorama is
unquestionable. Many tourists come to visit witness its beauty.
2. Public Transportation--- called Microlet. It has been an icon of Manado public
transportation, outstanding with its chair position inside. Manado is the only one having this
transportation style.
