What is Energy Crisis?

Definition:
• - An energy crisis any significant
congestion in the supply of energy
resources to an economy. Usually, it refers
to one of the energy resources used in a
certain time or place.

Crisis: The energy crisis is a result of many

different strains on our natural
resources, and not just one. There is a
strain on fossil fuels such as oil, gas and
coal due to overconsumption, which
then in return, can pull a strain on our
water and oxygen by causing pollution.
-Wastage of Energy
In most parts of the world, people do
not realize the importance of conserving
energy. It is only limited to books, the
internet, newspaper ads, etc. Unless we
give it a serious thought, things are not
going to change anytime
Energy is produced by burning of fossil
fuels. The burning releases greenhouse
gases such as CO2 and that makes a
blanket on the Earth's atmosphere, which
prevents the release of rays of sunlight by
night. Thus, the energy crisis facilitates,
making Earth a warmer place and
promoting Global Warming.
-Political Disturbances:
Due to energy crisis, shortage of energy
creates a crash in the global economy, as
well as a crash in the energy that is
available. . All these are enough to give rise
to the socio-political disturbances.
How to overcome
Energy Crisis?

• To prevent energy crisis, less energy

should be consumed by improving and
moderating energy infastructure, such
as smart grid solutions,
• Government should develop wind
projects in villages.
• Move towards renewable resources.
• Government should have strict checks.
What is being done
today?

• There are many global initiatives that

are working bounds resolving the energy
crisis. This has taken the form of increased
regulations and restrictions on carbon
emissions, the promotion of greener
manufacturing and construction projects,
the funding of research into hybrid
technologies and more sustainable things.
