Letter of Recommendation

I am writing this letter in favor of Mr. Muhammad Uzair Sukhera, currently working as research
engineer with me working on the project ‘A VTOL capable UAV. I have supervised him in his final
year project and also taught him two courses namely Integrated Circuits and Control Systems in which
he secured good grades. Mr. Uzair has maintained very high attendance in both the courses, which
shows his regularity in work. He has decent analytical abilities and profound understanding of
engineering concepts.

Mr. Uzair applied to work in my lab in the UAV research group for his final year project. I found
him ambitious and inspired and offered his group to work on the project titled “Image based navigation
of an autonomous vehicle”. The project involved some study and search work on the image matching
algorithms and I found him diligent, dedicated and ambitious during the project. I believe that he has a
good capacity to pursue research and masters studies.

Moreover, he has good communication skills both verbally and in written work. He has always been
an active participant in class discussions and by his positive response in assignments he proved himself
to be very adept in applying academic material to analyze real world engineering problems. Also
explanation of his views about solving a problem has always been very clear.

On the basis of my personal experience of teaching, I can confidently say that there will not be any
difficulty for Mr. Uzair in not only adjusting but also in performing well in graduate study at your
institution. His past academic record also demonstrates that he has the necessary determination,
initiative and academic creativity to complete an advanced graduate degree. I would therefore highly
recommend him for graduate studies in the field of studies.
