so that at the market you can think globally and act fashionably.

Customizing
Bag Size
Customize the size of this
bag for large laundry bags or
shopping bags.

To enlarge the bag for a laundry bag:

• Cut the bag top, insert and
bottom the same widths
indicated in the cutting
instructions by the desired
width x 2 plus 1 inch.
• Subtract 7¾ inches from the
desired length. Cut the netting
section this measurement plus
1 inch by the determined width.
• Cut pieces on the lengthwise
grain of the fabric for larger
bags if they are longer than
the standard fabric width of
44/45 inches. Figure yardages
needed by the determined
width of the pieces.

For example, for a 30 x 40-inch

laundry bag:
• Cut 1 each 5 x 61-inch bag
top strip, 3 x 61-inch bag
insert strip and 5 x 61-inch
bag bottom strip from desired
fabrics.
• Cut a 33¼ x 61-inch netting
section.
Note: You would need 1¾ yards
of each fabric and netting to
make a multicolored bag like
the sample. For larger bags, it
is more cost effective to use one
or two fabrics for these pieces,
or be creative and cut shorter
strips across the fabric width
or from scraps and then stitch
them together to achieve the
length needed.
