What is your review of League of Legends?

Here are all my thoughts on League of Legends in a nutshell.

 It’s a good game, but the developer has started making some very
questionable decisions.
 Climbing doesn’t really feel rewarding most of the time unless you have
the right mindset, because the better you are at the game, the more
mistakes you can see your teammates doing, which can corrupt you
over time.
 Being a popular game, the community still sucks even though it’s slowly
been cleaned out over the years.
 Not so fun without friends due to the direction the developer has been
taking it.
All in all, 3/5. It’s a good game, it just stops being fun after a while.

Should I allow my 12 year old son to play "League of legends"?

As a veteran League player who has been playing for 6 years now around the beta and
been at the apex of the millions. I feel like I have a knowledgable say in this.

^ Highest ranking given to only the top 200 of North America.

I would have to tell your son to…

ABSOLUTELY NOT PLAY THE GAME.

You might be surprised at my answer but here’s my analysis over the years.

 Addicting - One game takes at least 20 - 40 minutes. If it gets bad, it

can take about an hour. Not only that, I doubt your son will only want to
play “one game”. One game is never enough to be satisfying for League.
 Toxic - The League community is probably known for being the worst.
A lot of players on there are extremely offensive and condescending.
Not a good idea to expose a 12 year old to that type of environment.
 No point - Honestly, the fun part about it is long gone. Some may
disagree with me but I know a lot of my friends rarely play now compare
to before. Many of the old veteran games have moved on to a different
game. I know many people, including myself, rather watch the
professionals play rather playing themselves. It will be hard for him to
get into.
 Not noob friendly - As in, newbies are certainly not welcomed in
League. This ties back to the community. If you are a new player, they
won’t hesitate on bashing him down just because your son doesn’t
know how to play or made a mistake on there.
If he wants to play a game, I would recommend Minecraft. A lot of the players on there
are his age and A LOT NICER. Not to mention it actually helps with creativity.
