B) Why We Need Arts in Times of Crisis

1) Why is art vital in times of crisis?

Because as the world descends into darkness, art can be a thread of hope for humans
in order to inspire them to keep moving forward as it gives them something to think
about and it enables them to reflect on their lives on what’s really important.

2) Think about your life during the pandemic. Has art, in any way, helped you get by?
Art did help me get by during the pandemic, through the medium of video games,
although it is still not much considered an official form of art. It helped me relax and
set my mind at ease in a way that it transport me into another world as it unfolds its
narrative, and this really helped to stabilize my mentality during the pandemic.
