Why should children go to school at an early age?

 Simply, the younger the learner, the better they are at mimicking new sounds and
adopting pronunciation. The brain is open to new sounds and patterns in preadolescence.
 Children who grow up learning about languages develop empathy for others and a
curiosity for different cultures and ideas
 Within educational research, a number of longitudinal studies have demonstrated superior
academic, motivational and well-being outcomes for children who had attended child-
initiated, play-based pre-school programmes.
 there is a continuing gap between outcomes for disadvantaged children and those from
more affluent backgrounds which, research shows, can mean poorer children being up to
19 months behind in important skills such as reading and numeracy by the time they start
compulsory schooling at the age of five.
 Getting the foundations right makes everything else so much easier..The earlier you start,
the more you can learn
 Learning can be fun for young children.

 Starting school younger means finishing school at a younger age, which implies more
time for the individual to earn returns on their investment in education.
 For men, our main finding is that higher school starting age leads to lower earnings until
about age 30.
 children make new friends very easily and that there is no better environment in which to
do so than an early childhood centre
