Abstract
This study was motivated by a sincere desire to learn more about the possibilities of
smart door technologies and how they can affect how we live our everyday lives. It
investigates at how various technologies, such as Internet of Things (IoT) devices,
artificial intelligence, and automation, may be combined to create intelligent and
networked living spaces. The study looks at the advantages and disadvantages of
smart homes, such as increased convenience, energy efficiency, and improved
quality of life. It also discusses the potential implications for privacy and security. I
hope to contribute to the continuing discussion surrounding the creation and use of
intelligent door system as an aspiring researcher in the field of smart home
automation.

1.0 Introduction
In recent years, global demand for smart home technology has increased and Pakistan
is no exception. Smart door locking systems have grown in popularity in the country
as part of the rising trend towards home automation. These cutting-edge solutions
provide more protection, convenience, and control, revolutionizing how people
protect their homes and possessions.
In Pakistan, smart door locking systems integrate sophisticated technology with
traditional door locks to produce a seamless and intelligent access control solution.
These systems include features like biometric recognition, mobile connectivity, and
remote access to give homeowners with an advance level of security and
convenience.

unlock systems can use a variety of technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or RFID
to communicate with the user's device and the door lock.
The typical door has traditionally been made with physical security as its major focus,
acting as the main point of entry and departure in most residential and business
situations. But in the linked world of today, the demand for better security measures
has grown. Concern about burglary rates and house invasions has led to homeowners
looking for creative solutions that provide strong protection against unauthorized
entrance. The need for convenience and accessibility has simultaneously resulted in a
rise in the popularity of door systems that can easily integrate into the digital
ecosystem of smart homes.

During the period of middle 20s, Consumers started to recognize the advantages of
smart doors around this time as consumer knowledge of smart home technology
increased. The industry experienced a surge in demand brought on by the factors of
concern about home security but mostly on business places, widespread smartphone
use, and the need for home automation. New competitors and startups also appeared,
bringing advanced features and aggressive pricing.
The smart door industry has witnessed remarkable growth. Consumers may now
choose from a wide choice of items thanks to the industry's impressive expansion.
Traditional doors have become intelligent and linked entry points as a result of the
convergence of home automation, connection, and security.

1.3 Research
For this project we have conducted a Research survey. In which we asked 25
different questions about smart door its usage and how much people are familiar with
smart door and what are their opinions for their access. So, we have found that many
people already heard about smart door and they considered using it at their home or
workplaces, about 46% people considered using it and 45 % people find convenient.
We asked people about their opinion on which type of access or feature they want
when they installed smart doors. So, we have concluded that people usually want to
access their smart doors with their smartphones which people find convenient for
them.55% people wants biometric system and 31% wants smartphone access.

obviously employed and settled and business owners estimated age group which we
figure out id mostly 25- 45.
