MONTHLY NEWSLETTER

NEWSLETTER OVERVIEW
The newsletter is designed by Corporate Headquarters to inform customers on new monthly
promotions based on our monthly celebrations, highlight past events, invite customers to future
events and share pet related articles and groomer of the month.

Every salon will be in charge of sending their event of the month to be included the Good News
Section and in the Event Invitation section, as well as their Groomer of The Month. These
newsletters will be sent out to the clients of each of their salons, that way we can target their
customers sharing their local events.

The Newsletter is composed of the following categories:

1. Header:​ This header is visually coded for the whole marketing quarter.
2. Promotion Of The Month: We will announce the promotion of the upcoming month
according to our monthly picked celebration.
3. Invitation Of The Month: ​We will input events for the upcoming month hosted by our
salons -if there are any- and invite our readers to join. If the salon is not having any
event, this section is omitted.
4. ​Grooming Tips/Pet Related Articles: ​This section will feature some important articles
related to the monthly celebrations.
5. Groomer Of The Month: ​We will highlight one member of our staff chosen by our
Director of Operations and one of our Sydnee’s Founders.
6. Good News​: Any event hosted by one of our salons that we want to highlight and
celebrate.
7. Locations: ​Featuring a list of all our salons.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Program your monthly event according to the Marketing Calendar. Make sure you fill out our
“Newsletter Participation Form” that will be sent out via MyTime. This form is divided in three
sections to be filled: The Invitation Of The Month section, The Groomer Of The Month Section and
the Good News Section. The questions include the following:

● Who (what companies/foundations) helped out on the event?


● What is a (the event’s name)?
● Where was it held?
● What date was it?
● What is going to happen with the money or what is the purpose of the event?
● Who is your groomer of the month and why

Since the newsletter will be sent out at the end of each month, we would need to gather all
information in advance. The Participation Form opens at the beginning of each month and closes
one week before the publication date. Two weeks before you will receive a MyTime reminder with
the link to the Participation Form in case you still need to send more information.

TO PARTICIPATE IN THE INVITATION OF THE MONTH SECTION​:

Franchisees will have to plan their event of the month in advance so we can invite our readers to
join in. This event will also have to be planned in facebook, so we can direct our reader to that link
and they can RSVP to it.

TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GROOMER OF THE MONTH SECTION

In this section you will have the opportunity of highlighting a groomer of the month based on their
skills, enthusiasm and pet care. Just give us a small summary on why you chose that person and
we’ll get in touch with you for his/her picture to be published.

TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GOOD NEWS SECTION:

First of all make sure you bring a good resolution camera to your event to take very nice pictures,
showing people and pets enjoying and having a good time. Make sure you share these pictures as
an album in your social media networks too once the event is finished. That way we can send a link
to our readers for them to check them out.
