5. Write your attention-getter:

Do you know about anemia disease? Anemia can be suffered by all ages. WHO estimates
that 40% of children 6–59 months of age, 37% of pregnant women, and 30% of women 15–49
years of age worldwide are anaemic.

6.The first thing I will present is

Having looked at this subject, let’s now turn to the definition of Anemia. Anaemia is a
condition in which the number of red blood cells or the haemoglobin concentration within them is
lower than normal. There are many forms of anemia, and each type has telltale symptoms. Some
common types of anemia include:
 iron deficiency anemia
 vitamin B12 deficiency anemia
 aplastic anemia
 hemolytic anemia

7. The second thing I will present is

Let me now turn to, symptoms of anemia. The most common symptom of anemia is
fatigue. Other common symptoms include:
 Shortness of breath (dyspnea): This is the feeling you can’t catch your breath or take a deep
breath.
 Dizziness: This is feeling lightheaded or unsteady on your feet.
 Fast or irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia): This is when your heart feels like it's racing or
skipping beats.
 Pounding or “whooshing” sound in your ear (pulsatile tinnitus): This is a swooshing
sound in one of your ears that may come and go.
 Headache: Iron-deficiency anemia and anemias caused by low hemoglobin may cause
headaches.
 Pale or yellow skin: Your skin color may be paler than usual.
 Chest pain: This may feel like something is pressing on or squeezing your chest.
However, symptoms vary from person to person. Some people with mild anemia may
experience few or no symptoms. The symptoms that I have said before are general symptoms and
each type has its own more specific symptoms.

8. The third thing I will present is

The last one I will present about how to prevent anemia. While many types of anemia
cannot be prevented, eating healthy foods can help you avoid both iron-and vitamin-deficiency
anemia. Foods to include in your diet include those with high levels of iron (beef, dark green
leafy vegetables, dried fruits, and nuts), vitamin B-12 (meat and dairy), and folic acid (citrus
juices, dark green leafy vegetables, legumes, and fortified cereals). A daily multivitamin will also
help prevent nutritional anemias; however, older adults should not take iron supplements for iron-
deficiency anemia unless instructed by their physicians.

9. Write your closing

Well then it’s all of my presentation about Anemia. In conclusion, There are many types
of anemia with different symptoms and treatments. Give the treatment properly if we've been hit
and we can avoid it if we've not been exposed. I'd like to thank you for your time and attention
today. See you next time.
