to present my talk about On Job Training (OJT).

First of all, let me introduce myself. My name’s Farhan
….. Naufal Harahap. I am a student of Vocational High School
12 Bandung majoring at Sheet Metal Forming.

………………… Well, my friends. As we know that OJT is very important to improve

the quality of vocational students by getting better knowledge, skills,
and work ethics that are appropriate with the demands of the world of
work. By doing on job training in industry, students are able to find
….. alternative solutions to broader and deeper vocational problems that
are expressed in the report book they write and they are able to gather
information necessary to the development of science and technology.
In my talk today I will discuss about my OJT in PT GMF AeroAsia
………………… Tbk.

There are three main points which will be covered. Firstly about the
industry profile, secondly the personnel and finally my activities
….. during OJT at PT GMF AeroAsia Tbk.

Now, let’s begin with the first point, industry profile. Starting out in
1949, GMF AeroAsia originated as the Technical Division of Garuda
Indonesia Airlines at the Kemayoran and Halim Perdanakusuma
airports in Jakarta, Indonesia. In 1984, GMF AeroAsia was relocated
to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and rebranded itself as the
Division of Maintenance & Engineering (M & E), which eventually
developed into an independent business unit.

Subsequently in 1998, the M & E Division transformed into the
Strategic Business Unit (SBU-GMF), handling all Garuda Indonesia's
fleet maintenance activities, thus honing its competitive edge.
Eventually in 2002 SBU-GMF was spun off from Garuda Indonesia,
………………. and officially became an independent entity under the name of PT
Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia.

GMF AeroAsia is now rightly considered as the best and biggest

aircraft maintenance company in the region, providing the excellence
of integrated solutions for all customers around the world.

OK. I have covered the first point. Now let’s move on to the
second point, the personnels as you will see in the following
description.

GMF AeroAsia Tbk. The Chief Executive Officer is Mr. Iwan
Joeniarto, General Manager Hangar 1 is Mr. R. Andi Fajarprabawa,
Mr. Ruly working as the Manager Crew TBH 5, Mr. Purwo Suko
Pribadi and Mr. M. Maulana Ibrahim working as my supervisors.

Let me come to the last point, my activities during OJT at PT GMF
AeroAsia Tbk. The first time I came, I did a series of administration
requirements. Security Clearance is a kind of citizenship test for every
OJT participant to ascertain whether you are a good citizen or not.
For example to make sure that you do not follow the flow that

even when entering the office, you must pass the X-Ray first, making

the last day I helped GMF employees exactly who were in hangar 1

the types of drills as you will see in the following illustration. The types of
drills are iron drill, concrete drill, wood drill, glass drill and land drill as
they reflect their uses

a drilling machine.

is an important skill for a mechanic working in industry. In my talk today I
will discuss about drills.

assemble to hold this meeting. It’s an honor for me to stand in front of you
to present my talk about drills.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.

Let me come to the last point, how to use drill when operating a drilling
machine. First select the drill as the agreed size. Then, set the drill into grip
in the drilling machine. Next, lock the grip with the grip key. Connect to
electricity after setting the drill about the work object. After that, press the
on button on the machine. After the drilling process is over, switch off and
clear up.

My beloved teachers and friends, occupying chairman has, of course, some
