Animal treatment

Are some traditional forms of entertainment, such as circuses, bullfights, and

cockfights, cruel to animals?

In my opinion, I think that traditional forms of entertainment are cruel because to

those animals they deprived of their freedom, from little they started to train them
and not let it developed as they should. I believe that each animal should remain
in their natural habitat.

My arguments are: All the animal that are used to entertainment are forced to
sleep standing in crowded trucks, spend years with chained feet, they must act if
they are sick. Other argument is the animal abuse, they receive threats of
punishment with large pointed hooks fixed on their skin, faces or toes. Another
point is the inadequate care that the animal receive, they are forced to spend most
of their lives in small cages and are taken only for short periods of time to train or
play.

The possible opposing arguments are: Many people think it is a matter of

tradition, which is part of the culture or just see it as an art like the bullfighting,
they think the bull is a big animal that fights for his life and die with honor.
Another argument against is that increase the tourism, because people travel from
all over around the world to see many shows of animals and that can benefit the
country economically. And many other people see all these acts as fun as an
entertaining way to spend time with friend or family.

In conclusion I think that we must be aware of as really try and suffering the
animals used as entertainment and find another way to have fun like going to the
movies or in activities that are not used animals, because we have rights as well as
them also.
