1. Describe your pet
My uncle had a dog almost 10 years ago and we called it Pom Pom. This dog was around 2 years
old and very fond of us. We used to feed her and that's why she became so close to us.
My uncle placed it at a pet training centre when it was 1 year old. So she was a dog who needed
a little care. We used to bath her 3-4 times a week. She was very choosy about her sleeping place
and we needed to make her a cosy dog room. When she became sick, we needed to take her to
the nearest pet hospital. We used to tie her with a belt
when we took him to unknown places. Mostly keeping her clean and dry was the care she needed
most.
I liked the pet very much mostly because of the way she treated us. Whenever I returned home
she came to me and acted so fondly. It seemed like she understood my moods and gestures and
acted accordingly. I liked the pet because she was a good accompany.
2. Describe what you did last weekend
Okay, so last weekend was actually quite interesting because I worked as a staff on the Saturday
afternoon and on Sunday I had a family party to celebrate my mom's birthday.
So, on Saturday morning I got up as normal and after having some breakfast and getting ready
got second covid vaccine injection. After that I went with my mother to prepare for my mom's
birthday. We spent a couple of hours between the supermarket and a few other specialty shops
buying various things we needed.
On Saturday afternoon, I went to work at restaurant, people was full. It was very tired because
the effect of the injection but the end of the day I had some tips. Sunday is normally quite a lazy
day for me, but last Sunday we had a lot to do to prepare for the party, so most of the morning
was occupied with preparing for that. In the afternoon family and friends started arriving and the
party went on until quite late at night - so we were all pretty tired out by the end of the day.
3. Describe what you usually do at weekends
My weekend is always busy. I hardly go anywhere and I don't really do anything except work. I
spend my weekends working as a partime cashier in coopmart. On Saturday and Sunday we're
usually full, and I have to be on my feet for 4 or 5 hours both days. We end wotk at abour 10 pm,
after that I get home, I'm so tired that I don't want to do anything except lie on my bed and watch
Netflix. The best day of the week for me is Friday- that's my day off. In that day I don't have
class and even work.
4. Describe something healthy you enjoy eating
Actually, I rarely have a healthy diet. But I try to eat clean and eat green everyday because
highlyprocessed foods or low-quality foods are linked to obesity and an increased risk of heart
disease, and in some cases, cancer. So it's vital for me and for everyone to stay healthy by eating
clean in order to not only manage your weight but also help you build a stronger immune system
and increase your energy levels
5. Describe something you do to keep healthy
Well, I didn't really have a healthy habit until recently when I start to cook myself a healthy diet.
I believe this activity can benefit both my mental and physical health. I usually try to cook as
often as possible for all of my meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
What I mean by healthy diet is a meal with a variety of foods that give me the required nutrients
I need to feel good, to have energy and to be healthy.
You can buy healthy meals here in HP but they are very expensive. That's why I usually cook for
2-3 days, so 6-7 meals per time. It saves me a lot of time and a lot of money. However, I get fed
up with it sometimes.
The reason why I enjoy eating healthy is that when combined with being physically active and
maintaining a healthy weight, eating well is an excellent way to help my body stay strong and
healthy. In addition, seeing myself looking fit and healthy makes me happy which is good for my
mental health too.
6. Describe a party that you have attended
The most enjoyable one was a surprise party that I held with my momher to mark my elder
brothers 16th birthday. It was on the twenty-first December last year, and I had started to plan
it two days before. My mother started cooking seafood hotpot while I called all his friends to
the party in the evening. I proceeded to order cakes and appetizers along with the beverages
for the evening. The celebrations finally commenced and all the guests had arrived before he
came.
Everybody socialized, we played party games, danced and had a lot of fun throughout the
evening. The best part was the fact that everyone was happy with the celebration and there
were smiles all around me. My brother got gifts from everyone and was all smiles when I gifted
him a ball, he was very happy and thanked me profusely for organizing such an amazing party.
7. Describe an activity that makes you feel good
The most engaging activities I've got involved in is cooking. Every day after school, I would make
a simple but tasty meal for my parents, who enjoy my food so much. To some people my age,
cooking can be such a nightmare, but my mom has been teaching me how to cook since I was a
little girl, so I find it just a piece of cake. I'm best at cooking such Vietnamese traditional food as
beef noodles and spring rolls but I also try making exotic dishes in my free time, When I cook,
both my mind and my body are so absorbed in it that I forget the surroundings. One thing with
cooking is that there are thousands and thousands of recipes to try. The excitement and
nervousness when trying out a new recipe make cooking never seem dull to me. And I feel over
the moon when I see the end result.
8. Describe something you want to learn
Public speaking needs some special expertise. I have the necessary skills but to some points, I
lose my way to explain the details, so need to learn it more. I think it would be better to get
admission to a school or training centre where public speaking is exercised. Home is not an ideal
place to learn this skill. Hence, Im planning to study in a face where I could exercise the public
speaking. As a student, I need to deal with my teacher & my class male during class hours. And
only and enhanced public speaking can help me do that.
9. Describe your favorite sport
a sport that I particularly enjoy and have been practising for a few years is basketball.
I first knew about basketball when I was at a secondary school. However, at that time I did not
play basketball at all, because I was not an active kid who was aware of the critical importance
of physical exercises. When I went to high school, a lot of my friends were a big fan of
basketball and my school offered big playgrounds for sports activities, therefore I practised
basketball much more often
I usually play basketball in the weekends and often go to sports centres with my classmates for
basketball matches. Sometimes we even participate in local league, didn't accomplish anything
big but it was extremely fun.
For me, basketball is a good way to help me pursue a healthy lifestyle. It is also an affordable
type of cort as you do not have to buy a lot of specialised sports materials, Finally, playing
basketball enables me to develop a number of important and non academic skills such as
discripline, team work, problem solving and cooperation.
