RESOLUTION MOST RESPECFULLY REQUESTING DPWH FOR THE CONCRETING OF

1 KILOMETER FARM TO MARKET ROAD LOCATED IN PUROK LANZONES GOING TO PUROK
MANGIGISDA, SITIO TANGALAN, KAWAYAN, ALICIA ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY IN THE
AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION PESOS (PHP1000,000.00) .

WHEREAS, the Kawayan Alicia Coconut farmers Marketing Cooperative (KACOFARMCO) is

one of the cooperatives accredited by the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) – IPIL, Zamboanga
Sibugay Provincial Office, and is entitled to avail of the services provided under RA No. 11524 or
the Coconut Farmers Industry Trust Fund Act.

WHEREAS, the Kawayan Alicia Coconut Farmers Marketing Cooperative (KACOFARMCO) is

organized cooperative and existing by virtue of Republic Act No. 9520 with Registration No. 9520-
100900032687 address at Kawayan, Alicia Zamboanga Sibugay;

WHEREAS, barangay Kawayan is among the main producers of copra, vegetable and other
agricultural product in the Municipality of Alicia,

WHEREAS, most of these agricultural produce pass through purok lanzones and purok mangingisda,
sitio tangalan on its way to the market in the town center;

WHEREAS, the condition of the barangay road stretching from purok lanzones to purok mangingisda,
sitio tangalan is a constraint to the proper handling of the farm products;

WHEREAS, the honorable body deems that this road construction project is a major contributing
factor in the progress of this municipality;

WHEREAS, the KACOFARMCO has no sufficient fund to allocate for the concreting of 1 kilometer
Farm to market road;

WHEREAS, the KACOFARMCO, BOD Members, officers, members and coconut farmers ask a favor
to DPWH, to help us regarding the above mentioned;

WHEREAS, after series of deliberation, the BOD’s approved the consensus of the said matter;

NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of Kawayan Coconut Farmers Marketing
Cooperative (KACOFARMCO) to most respectfully requests, as it hereby most respectfully requests
Hon. DPWH, for concreting of a farm to market road from purok lanzones to purok mangingisda, sitio
Tangalan, Kawayan, Alicia Zamboanga Sibugay.

RESOLVED FURTHER to furnish copies of this resolution to dpwh for his

information and kind consideration. Approved unanimously by the Board of Directors of
KACOFARMCO present, this 11th day of March 2023 at kacofarmco Office, Kawayan, Alicia,
Zamboanga Sibugay.
