AN ORDER CREATING BDC EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF BARANGAY PANIANGAN,

MANTICAO, MISAMIS ORIENTAL

WHEREAS, there is a need to create for a planning and advisory bodies for the efficient implementation
of the programs, projects and activities in the barangay;

WHEREAS, Barangay Development Council shall assist the Sangguniang Barangay in setting the
direction of economic and social development and coordinating development efforts within its territorial
jurisdiction;

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 106 of the Local Government Code of 1991, each local government unit
shall have a comprehensive multi-sectoral development plan;

WHEREAS, Section 111 of RA 7160 otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991 mandates
the creation of the BDC Executive Committee;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RENE S. FABRIA, Punong Barangay of Paniangan, Manticao, Misamis

Oriental, by virtue of the powers vested upon me by law, do hereby order to create the Barangay
Development Council (BDC) EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE.

Section 1. COMPOSITION
Pursuant to Section 111 (a) (2) of RA 7160, the BDC Executive Committee shall be composed of
the following, to wit:

Chairman: RENE S. FABRIA, Punong Barangay

Members: LUDY D. ELLO, Barangay Kagawad/Committee on Public Works & Infra. Dev.
MARY JANE T. NOB, KALIPI Women’s Org.
JULITO C. MANGUYANON, NAMAGPAKA Farmers’ Org.
JUNNA J. HERMOSO, Purok Federated President
LELA T. LUYAHAN, Senior Citizens President (updated)

Section 2. FUNCTION
The following shall be the functions of the BDC Executive Committee pursuant to Section 111
(b) of RA 7160, to wit:
1. Ensure that the decisions of the Council are faithfully carried out and implemented;
2. Act on matters requiring immediate attention or action by the council;
3. Formulate policies, plans and programs based on the general principles laid down by the
council; and
4. Act on the matters that may be authorized by the council except the approval of the barangay
development plan/annual investment plan.

Section 6. EFFECTIVITY
This Order shall take effect immediately.
