RESOLUTION CREATING SITIO MATAY AS THE TENTH (10TH) PUROK DESIGNATED AS PUROK 9

WHEREAS, pursuant to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s 4th State of the Nation Address (SONA), he directed
public officials thru the Department of the Interior and Local Government to exercise their full authority to reclaim public
roads which are being used for private ends and get rid of illegal structures and constructions, particularly along public roads
and streets;

WHEREAS, local governments must enact or revisit ordinances related to road clearing and banning of illegal
construction; prepare an inventory of roads within their jurisdiction; develop and implement displacement strategies; and
cause the rehabilitation of recovered public roads;

WHEREAS, there is a need to impose strict compliance to get rid of road obstructions, either for ease of human
movement or to address traffic congestion;

WHEREAS, one of the electrical pole erected in Purok 4 has covered the 1.5-meter clearance from the edge or side
of the barangay road which the MLGOO and evaluators remarked as disregarding the President’s Directives on Road
Clearing;

NOW THEREFORE, premises considered, on motion of Hon. Kag. Ludy D. Ello which was duly seconded by
Hon. Kag. Carmelito D. Buzarang, it was:

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to REQUEST MORESCO-I TO REPOSITION THE

ELECTRICAL POLE A FEW DISTANCE AWAY LOCATED IN PUROK 4 IN RESPONSE TO THE
PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTIVE OF HIS EXCELLENCY RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, PHILIPPINE PRESIDENT,
ON ROAD CLEARING OPERATIONS IN PANIANGAN, MANTICAO, MISAMIS ORIENTAL

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of this resolution to MORESCO-I for their appropriate actions.
