Minutes of the General AssemblyMarch 26, 2011The Assembly started at 8:30 am. The arrival
of participants was facilitated by theBarangay Secretary Mr. Benjamin Miasco and the SK
Chairman Natasha Allado and her SK Kagawads. While the participants were registering for
their attendance, those children below 18 years old also registered their names for enrolment in
the Pupil EyewatchOrganization. The Barangay Secretary is the official emcee of the program.

The program proper was opened with a prayer led by Mr. Felipe Quijote. It
wasfollowed by the singing of the National Anthem led by Day Care Worker Ms.
Carol M.Salga. The Barangay Secretary then introduced the participants per purok.

The opening remark was made by no other than the Punong Barangay Michael P.Daniot. The
Punong Barangay welcomes the participant and reiterated the importance of  participation. He
encouraged the constituents to be more responsive in their participationin the Barangay
activities.

After the opening remark, this was followed by the reporting of the
v a r i o u s committees. The Committee on Education Chairman Kagawad Jean Paul C.
Morenoreported the committee plans and programs for 2011. He explained the institution of
theP u p i l E y e w a t c h a n d l a i d d o w n t h e o b j e c t i v e s a s w e l l a s t h e V i s i o n -
M i s s i o n o f t h e organization. Kagawad Moreno also explained his proposed ordinance and
resolution.

The Committee on Peace and Order followed the reporting represented by the theP e a c e a n d
Order Chairman Kagawad Calvin M. Sario. Kagawad Sario
s u c c i n c t l y reported the seminar on radio handling and protocols. In addition, Kagawad Sario
assuredthe constituents that the Barangay is generally peaceful and that the BPSO are doing
their  best to preserve peace and order.

Kagawad Jovino M. Albasin, Chairman on Agriculture and Environment took thenext turn of the
reporting. In his report, he emphasized the observance of Ordinance 669w h i c h i s t h e
segregation of waste disposal. Kagawad Albasin also announces
t h e observance of the “Earth Hour “on March 26, 2011. Aside from those, Kagawad
Albasini n t r o d u c e d t h e i m p l e m e n t a t i o n o f t h e M R F i n t h e B a r a n g a y . T h i s
w a s f o l l o w e d b y Kagawad Maandig who reported on the various infrastructure
projects. As committeechairman on infrastructure, he deliberated on the projects in
which the recipient will bethe different Purok of the Barangay.

For the Committee on Health and Sanitation, Kagawad Genie Ybanez reported onthe creation
of the VAWDesk. In addition, she announced the blood letting program of
