RESOLUTION NO. 3 SERIES OF 2019

“A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING TO THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF

PACALUNDO TO ADOPT THE MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 06 SERIES OF 2019
ENTITLED: AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PUTTING UP OF
ENCROACHMENT OR OBSTACLE ON ALL ROADS, ALLEYS, PARKS, SQUARES,
STREETS, SIDEWALKS AND BRIDGES FROM ILLEGAL STRUCRURES AND
CONSTRUCTION”

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 17 (b) of Local Government Code of 1991, all

provincial, city, municipal and barangay government are mandated to manage and
maintain roads within their jurisdiction as a basic services and facility;

WHEREAS, the President of the Republic of the Philippines during his 4 th State of
the Nation Address has directed all Local Government Units to reclaim public roads
being used for private ends thru Memorandum Circular No. 2019-121 issued by
the Department of the Interior and Local Government dated July 29, 2019 directing
all government units to clear roads of illegal obstruction;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Government of Balo-i has enacted Municipal Ordinance

No. Series 2019 in response to the trust of reclaiming public roads and removing all
types of obstructions thereof;
WHEREAS, the Barangay Peace and Order Council (BPOC) finds the necessity of
adopting and implementing the said ordinance in the Barangay.

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of HON. ABDULLAH A. MAUNA BPOC Member,

seconded by ABDUL AZIS MACAUMBANG SENIOR CITIZEN REPS., it was;

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to recommend to Sangguniang Barangay of

Pacalundo to create Resolution adopting the Municipal Ordinance No. 6 series of
2019 dated September 16, 2019 Entitled; AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE
PUTTING UP OF ENCROACHMENT OR OBSTACLE ON ALL ROADS, ALLEYS,
PARKS, SQUARES, STREETS, SIDEWALKS AND BRIDGES FROM ILLEGAL
STRUCRURES AND CONSTRUCTION.

RESOLVE FURTHER, to forward this resolution to the Sangguniang Barangay of

Pacalundo Balo-i Lanao del Norte for their information and guidance.

Unanimously carried.
