“A RESOLUTION FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF THE BARANGAY VERIFICATON TEAM FOR THE NATIONAL
HOUSEHOLD TARGETING SYSTEM FOR POVERTY REDUCTION (NHTSPR) PROJECT OF THE DEPARTMENT
OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT”

WHEREAS, a letter was received by the Local Government of Subic dated August 26,
2020 from the Department of Social Welfare and Development informing this LGU of the
“LISTAHANAN” or the national Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTSPR)
project of the department;

WHEREAS, the above-named project will be conducting the validation and finalization
phase for the 2nd semester of CY 2020 whose intention is to assess and verify the preliminary list
of poor households and the correctness of their entries in the database, in line with this the
DSWD has requested the Local Government Unit of Subic to organize the Local Verification
Committee (LVC), and in the same letter, a Barangay Verification Team should also be organized
who will assist in the over-all validation process and primarily responsible in the objective
review of appeals and grievances from the community;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of HON. MELQUIADES R. PAMINTUAN JR, Barangay

Kagawad First in Rank and HON. MERCEDES V. HARRISON, Chairman of the Committee on
Social Services, duly seconded by all Sangguniang Barangay members present in the session
assembled to immediately organize within the barangay to wit:
“THE ORGANIZATION OF THE BARANGAY VERIFICATON TEAM FOR THE NATIONAL
HOUSEHOLD TARGETING SYSTEM FOR POVERTY REDUCTION (NHTSPR) PROJECT OF THE DEPARTMENT
OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT”
