BARANGAY RESOLUTION NO. 029
Series of 2023

Resolution approving and adopting the 3 - year

Barangay Peace and Order Safety Plan 2023 - 2025
For CY 2024 of Barangay Cadlan, Pili, Camarines
Sur

WHEREAS, Section 116 of Republic Act NO. 7160, or the “Local Government Code of 1991”
and Executive Order No. 773, Series of 2009, calls for the further reorganization of the
Peace and Order Council (POC) in every Province, City, Municipality and Barangay level;

WHEREAS, under item 6, Section 3 of Executive Order No. 366, Series of 1996, the
Barangay Peace and Order Committee (BPOC)shall formulate and recommend such
measures which will improve or enhance peace and order and public safety in their area of
responsibility;

WHEREAS; DILG Memorandum Circular 2015 – 130, dated November 3, 2015 provides
that the BPOC shall formulate a Barangay Peace and Order and Public Safety Plan in every
Barangay Level;

WHEREAS; such POPS Plan is a 3 – year term based plan which shall be incorporated in the
Barangay Development Plan (BDP) of the Barangay Government;

WHEREAS; considering that peace and order and public safety is one of the priority thrusts
of the current administration, the Barangay Peace and Order Committee of this Barangay
has formulated the BPOPS Plan for Calendar year 2023-2025;

NOW THEREFORE; on motion of Barangay Kagawad VIRGILIO L. ATIS and duly

seconded by Barangay kagawad RANDY A. REAL, be it;

RESOLVED as it is hereby resolves to approve the Barangay Peace and Order Safety 3 –
year Plan 2023-2025.

RESOLVED FURTHER that the copies of this resolution be forwarded to the line
Agencies/offices concerned all of Pili, Camarines Sur for their information.
