    Fire requires three components - oxygen, fuel, and heat - to burn. Fire extinguishers work by removing one of these components. There are different types of fire extinguishers classified by the type of fire (classes A, B, C, D). To use an extinguisher, follow the P.A.S.S. method - pull the pin, aim at the base of the fire, squeeze the handle, and sweep side to side. Do not fight large or spreading fires and always have an exit behind you. In the event of a fire, pull the alarm and immediately evacuate the building to the muster point.

    authorized personnel
