• Mixed Forms and Improper Fractions are fractions less than 1.


• How do we change mixed form to improper fraction?
- To change mixed form to improper fraction, multiply the
denominator by the whole number and then add the numerator.
Use the same denominator.
• How do we change improper fraction to mixed form?
- To change improper fraction to mixed form, divide the
numerator by its denominator. The quotient becomes the whole
number of the mixed number. The remainders become the new
numerator and then use the same denominator.
