GIBBSON PREDROSO - NOISE
The communication process is made up of four key components.
Those components include encoding, medium of transmission, noise,
and feedback. There are also two other factors in the process of
communication, and those two factors are present in the form of the
sender and the receiver.

1. VERBAL COMMUNICATION - Verbal communication occurs when we engage in speaking with others.

2 . NON - VERBAL COMMUNICATION - transfer of information from one person to another without
the use of words or spoken language.

3. WRITTEN COMMUNICATION - Whether it is an email, a memo, a report, a Facebook post, a

Tweet, a contract, etc.

4. LISTENING - The act of listening does not often make its way onto the list of types of
communication.

5. VISUAL COMMUNICATION - We are a visual society. Think about it, televisions are running 24/7,
Facebook is visual with memes, videos, images, etc., Instagram is an image-only platform, and
advertisers use imagery to sell products and ideas.
ENCODING
Encoding: The communication process begins when the source or sender
selects words, symbols, pictures and the like, to represent the message that
will be delivered to the receiver(s). This process, known as encoding,
involves putting thoughts, ideas, or information into a symbolic form.

For example, you may realize you're hungry and

encode the following message to send to your
roommate: “I'm hungry. Do you want to get pizza
tonight?” As your roommate receives the
message, they decode your communication and
turn it back into thoughts to make meaning.
In the communication process, the receiver is the listener, reader, or observer.
A receiver is defined as someone who fulfills the function of receiving
information which comes from the sender . The receiver becomes responsible
for ensuring that the message can be understood and in turn generating a
response that is appropriate to its content.

Process receiver communication.is to communicate your love ones or your

friends, teacher to fast and clearly understanding to a person who send you a
messages.

example: I well text my girlfriend or friends and teachers na good morning.

FeedBack- It is the process of letting someone know which areas they need to
improve.Feedback is essential to effective communication because it helps the sender
check that their message has been understand and recieved as intended and modify
their communication.

2 types of feedback, positive and negative..

Communication noise can be defined as any barrier preventing an effective
communication process. When a form of noise disrupts the communication
process from the sender to the receiver, it is considered communication noise.
The noise might distract the receiver, causing them not to hear the sender's
message properly.

Here are some of the different types of noise that can impact effective
communication.

Physical noise is any external or environmental stimulus that distracts us from

receiving the intended message sent by a communicator.

Example: others talking in the background, background music,

Physiological noise is any distraction due to a physiological function that

interferes with communication.

Examples of physiological noise include hunger, fatigue, headaches and pain.

Psychological noise refers to the noise in your head that can prevent you
from concentrating. It may include wandering thoughts, like switching topics too
quickly, making it difficult for the listener to follow your narrative.
