Assignment 2: Short Essay

The children as well as the other citizens in every community lies on the
resources and capabilities that they have. These resources enables the community
to address these needs and these capabilities paves the way for the community to
have their own strength in serving the community.

My community’s environment and location lies in the coastal area and

therefore I would say that the resources we have mostly are coming from the coastal
waters. We have our fishermen and livestock raisers along the sea and these include
culturing of fishes such as milkfish and the like. Also, we do have several beach
resorts and tourist spots inside our community which also allows the people to work
on such areas and make profits out of these. Moreover, I consider this as a strength
of my community for it allows the citizens to feed their families, support them
financially, and address the needs of the children. There are so much to be
highlighted in my community but this is what I chose for it has been along with my
community since the day it was formed and started.
