1. The Principal of Replica Public School, Panna, MP, is getting requests from the students to
introduce Ultimate Frisbee, a game that blends Frisbee, basketball, football, and rugby.
Since the school lacks a big playground, the game needs to be played in the Panna
Stadium, adjacent to the school. Write a letter report, using the data given below, to the
Chairman of the Panna Stadium Association, requesting access to the stadium.
Additionally, write recommendations for introducing Ultimate Frisbee to students. Invent
necessary details. (30 marks)

2. The Centre for Economic Policy Research and Advocacy, a research organization based in
Singapore, recently conducted a survey among young women working professionals from
three Asian cities — Bangalore, Shanghai, and Singapore. The survey was conducted
among women of the age group between 25 and 35 to understand the challenges women
professionals face with respect to their career. The survey was conducted among 2250
participants with 750 participants from each of the three cities. The data given in the
below illustrations looks at 5 major concerns of the participants of the survey.

Keeping in view this context, interpret the data given in the illustration below, as part of
the “discussion” section of the report. Your analysis should describe the data chart and
include five findings and their respective interpretations based on the data. Do not draw
or include any other illustration (~500 words). (30 marks)

Answer:

Data analysis should include:

1. the introduction to the graph;


2. highlighting statements (key findings)
3. discussion/interpretation of the interesting aspects of the data
4. implications if any

Evaluators look for:

a. The data commentary is complete and contains at least 350 words:


It includes description of data and key findings. (3 Marks)
b. It highlights the results and supports each with data from the table. It does not
overgeneralize or draw unwarranted inferences not found in data table (5x5=25 Marks)
c. Language: Grammar, Vocabulary and Mechanics = (2 Marks)

3. BITS Pilani hosts the cultural festival OASIS every year. Lately, it has been observed that
the students who attend the festival are unhappy with the arrangements and facilities
provided during Oasis. The president of the students' union wants to take appropriate
steps to improve the students’ experience during Oasis. He has asked the secretary to
look into the matter and submit a Report. Assume yourself to be the secretary, and
prepare a questionnaire to be circulated amongst the participants from other
universities. Your questionnaire should have 10 questions overall (two for each type -
dichotomous, multiple choice, checklist, rating scale and ranking), excluding questions
on personal information. (10x2=20 marks)

Questionnaire is evaluated on two aspects broad aspects:


1. Content
2. Structure
It is expected to explore the reasons for dissatisfaction for the arrangements during Oasis.
The questions should not deal with only one issue but deal with all the aspects.
Questionnaire demands 10 exclusive questions pertaining to the reasons for the
dissatisfaction.

● Depending upon the treatment of the issues and structure (design) of questions,
