 Loss of trust in others due to unethical or unprofessional misconduct
 Termination from job and loss of professional license due to
unprofessional conduct, revealing privileged communication, or breach
of confidentiality.
 Chargers for unprofessional, unethical, and immoral conduct.
 Breach of confidentiality and/or mismanagement of medical records.
 Financial penalties to you and your employer if a breach of information
occurs.
 Lateral violence, which occurs when professionals post comments on
SM regarding other individuals. Lateral violence may include but is not
limited to disruptive behaviours, cyber bullying, intimidation, and
threats toward a health professional’s personal safety.
