The bar chart compares the time spent every day by students aged

between 10 and 15 years old in the UK on two activities, namely chatting online
and playing computer games.
Overall, it is clear that chatting on the internet is more common than
playing on games console. Meanwhile, boys prefer playing on their consoles
while girls favor chatting online.
In details, around 85% of 10 to 15-year-olds boys spend time on playing
video games each day in comparison with about 55% of those chat online daily.
Furthermore, the vast majority of boys spend more than one hour a day
on playing their consoles, and one tenth do this activity for 4 hours or more. By
contrast, approximately 70% of girls aged between 10 and 15 spend time every
day on entertaining in online conversation while the figure for playing computer
games per day is just over a half. Moreover, nearly 10% of girls chat online for
more than 4 hours a day whereas 60% spend one hour or more each day on this
activity.
